Fall colours are great 🍂. The escarpment is beautiful. Family friendly kids will love the nature hike and enjoy the escarpment at the point. It will cost you $7 per head not per vehicle. Picnic area are also available. Hiking to the rattle snake point look out is just few minutes from the parking. Will take longer hike if you go further into the woods. Stroller & child wagon friendly up to a certain look out point which is already good enough to enjoy the escarpment view. Will be harder if you go further. Child can manage the well maintained hiking trail. Just updated this review October 3, 2020. Fall colours are a month early this year. We have added few more pics taken 1st week of October 2020. This conservation area now requires reservation as part of Covid safety protocol for crowd control. That’s the most effective way to limit number of families in the area at the same time. Always check their website for updates. Do drop us a like if you find this review helpful.

Rattlesnake Point is an incredible outdoor experience with a variety of great trails that are well maintained. The scenery is very spectacular, with the panoramic views of the great scenery and the surrounding colorful trees. Whether you're looking for a leisurely walk or a more challenging hike, there are trails suitable for all skill levels. There was a small little river like on the bottom of the hike it was great to see! However, it was very crowded, especially on holidays and during peak seasons, so arriving early is advised. Also, be mindful of the park's conservation efforts and guidelines to preserve this beautiful natural area as they maintain it very well! Overall, Rattlesnake Point in Milton is a top tier for a hiking destination offering breathtaking views and an outdoor experience you won’t forget. FUN FACT: you can go rock climbing here P.S parking is paid per person and not per car

Great place to go for some scenic heights. It's generally not too crowded and there's enough space to abide by social distancing rules. You will have to make an appointment on a website which gives you a two hour timeframe to enjoy the park. There are three trails ranging difficulties (green, yellow, orange), currently because of the two hour timeframe you won't be able to enjoy the orange trail fully unless you run, as a casual walk will take up to 4 hours on said trail. At some of the viewing points in the trail there are spots where you can view a portion of the sunrise and set although not fully. There are also campsites, and rock climbing options there. All in all, a great place to go for a short-medium hike (due to the current COVID limitations) as long as you make sure to keep track of the time and make an appointment in advance.

Beautiful Trail! Nature at its best. We saw a snake, don't know the type but it was hiding inside a few rocks. Even saw a hawk chilling on a tree branch on a cliff. There are about 3 trails here one of which was closed when we visited. This also has the Bruce trail running near it. Less people were there at one place so there was good physical distancing. Unfortunately the trail connecting to the Lake Crawford was closed. We need to buy tickets to enter this conservational area. You can do that before you reach or even on the spot on parkvisits.ca. A single ticket with one car costs you about 6$ for 2 hours validity and I would say its worth it. With such nice and tall trees, I would like to visit again to explore the area we could not visit and the Lake Crawford as well.

Very gorgeous ! Many great look outs and photo ops. Be prepared to HIKE ! There are numerous trails to choose from depending on how much time/effort you want to commit. They have campsites if you want to stay a few days and explore the area. Large cliffs and many spots to rock Climb from with hook ups/anchors to assist. We spent about 3 hours and didn't even explore half the park it is quite large. It was about $35 for 2 adults and a child, can reserve online but not necessary as we got in with ease and no troubles (paid at the gate). I do wish they had more maps throught the park/trails as we did get lost for a moment and had to re-navigate our escape out! All in all would definitely recommend it, seems to be a very popular place to bring an RC car as we saw MANY !

Rattlesnake Point located in Milton is one of the well known conservation parks in Ontario. Best time to visit is during spring but just before winter is good too. Various species of flowers blooming and changing colors is a great attraction and treat to eyes and mind. When it comes to hiking and walking, there are 4 trails with good instructions and directions. Crawford lake, Hilton Falls and Rattlesnake Point are known visits in the park. We did the Bruce Trail and enjoyed the overall trail, and a small stream with clear water. Rock climbing is another adventure sport available here. Overall had a great experience, good walk, wonderful sceneries, took some good pictures is the nature. Weather was pleasant but mild cold.
