The virtual games are terrible - they are poorly setup, had us hitting the wall with the bat because there isn't enough room to swing. The simulators are really slow and broke down on us several times, we just had to stop.
There was a promotion on so the laser tag seemed like a great deal. It would have been except that the equipment didn't work properly for a few people in our group - the gun didn't function at all for one, the other wouldn't stop going off even without hitting the trigger. We ended up missing half the game by the time we noticed, switched gear for a few people and missed a good chunk. The scores were also not registering for most of us after the game, and for those that were you could tell there was an issue with another person's gear.
We were told that 'it happens' and that was that. We wanted to play again, with functional equipment, but were told it was full price. No problems paying full price if we had received properly working gear in the first place - we were extremely disappointed and we trekked out to spend our evening there only for it to be broken. After some coaxing we were told that he would extend the promotional pricing for another game...what should have happened was the game should have been stopped when we reported the issues, let the people with the issues grab working vests and guns, start over, and this would be a much better review. We shouldn't have to 'negotiate' for 15 minutes after something we paid for not working, only to pay again...
We tried to be smart about the second round and looked at the scores of the last group. We then grabbed the vests/guns that we knew were working. We went in again and it was a blast! Will adjust this rating if appropriate next...
Read moreAttended a birthday party there. This place is meh in my opinion. One washroom has no toilet paper, another was dirty. We wanted to order food off the menu, the gentlemen went into the kitchen and shut the door to have a conversation regarding the request. Only to come out and be told that the fryers dont work, and that the menu is over a year old so all they have was junk food (chips, cookies, pop etc). The chips on top of that was the size you hand out for halloween. If the menu is over a year old then your website and boards should be update to reflect correct information. I personally feel as though they just didn't want to start them up because if it was the truth there would be a sign or be wouldve advised immedately instead of a secret conversation. I listed to when the staff member talked to the kidd to explain to then how everything worked she just ran through it really fast and then quickly asked if they understood. Obviously it wouldnt bother the kids but as an adult she couldve done better. One gentlemen at the front I believe was playing games in front of guests. Another gentlemen whike the kids were having their pizza should really learn discretion when discussing payment etc with parents as well. "So will you be paying cash....card???" Im at the back of the room and I could hear it...rushing the parents. Let them deal with the kids and then they will come discuss it with you just polietly ask to come to the front when they have a moment.
Ive been to other lazer tag facilities and this one is at the...
Read moreThis is a response to the feedback provided by Jody as I'm not able to respond to a post as a non- business owner. We are proud members of the hockey community in Mississauga, with close ties to both the Mississauga Beast AA and the Mississauga Senators AAA teams. Our teams host their year-end gatherings at Ultimate Laser Tag annually, with the business sponsoring our teams as a way of giving back to the community and supporting local sports.
Feeding a hockey team and their families requires ample food preparation and coordination, which may differ from typical business operations. We typically order a substantial amount of pizza, wings, utilizing the facility for supplementary items such as chips, water, snacks, and occasional baskets of onion rings.
As hockey parents we also like to drink :) and we receive the same expected variety as you would expect from any "arena" bar, where there are a few selections of beer, wine and spirits.
Regarding equipment concerns, it is important to note that nerf guns and Laser Tag equipment are subject to wear and tear, especially if mishandled. We have had some equipment break on us, but The Ultimate Laser Tag will replace and fix their equipment as quickly as possible and will make every attempt at ensuring they have enough working equipment for your group when you arrive.
We have always had a positive experience with the dedicated staff and owner of Ultimate Laser Tag and are consistently satisfied with the service provided year after year. Thank you for your...
