After years and years - 5 or 6? - they managed to rebuild the boardwalk across the wetland. So it's nice and it worths to come again. Not everything is okay, though. Many indicators in the trails, after crossing the wet land coming from the boardwalks, are on the ground or missing. Doesn't look like a well managed area.

About Montreal parkometers in the parks: they ask now for plate no. I don't understand what is that waiting time for checking the plate no? What are they checking? This is annoying! I don't come to the park to have my plate no checked! Also, the parking fee is 8 dollars for 2 hours and 10 for whole day. I don't get the logic. Why we should pay for 2.5h like for a whole day? Why is the difference between 2h and a day so insignificant? This is again does not sound like a...

I would've given zero stars if I could. When we were back from our 1 hour walk to the parking lot, we saw that somebody shattered the rear window and robbed our car. This is the Monté de l'église entrance. There is no security camera, no guard, no booth, whatsoever. I wonder why they charge the 7-9$ parking fee, when there is no security there. If I wanted my car to be robbed, I would have parked it somewhere else for free... This parking lot is clearly the SPOT for this particular thief and seems to be doing it often, as this entrance is practically in the middle of nowhere and the closest bodyshop said that they have one case like this every week. AVOID going there and if you do go there, empty your car first. The place is not...

Just came back from a 2.5 hour hike in this great park. Very nice paths shaded often by trees. Beautiful raised walkways in the marshes where you can see ducks, turtles, and even a beaver!! Mosquito repellent is a must! The only negative point, and quite a major one, is that there are often no signs to indicate directions; we came to many forks in the paths where we had to totally guess which way to go (very frustrating!!!). The chalet d’accueil has clean bathrooms and picnic tables outside. The chalet is surrounded by annual begonia flowers - I wish the money spent on the flowers was used instead towards more sign posts on...

Beautiful park. It is an amazing and great place to get refreshed and relaxing 😌 we spent a couple of hrs , and there is paid parking for vehicles. Don't forget to carry your umbrellas and some snacks 😋 it's very big to walk around, so plan for at least 4 hrs trip. Keep your phone charged to capture the beautiful scenes. It has nice and clean restrooms, a small beach on the river bank for 🏊‍♂️. It's 20 mins driving from Saint-Laurent, Montreal.
