Maison Nivard-De Saint-Dizier, musée et site archéologique — Attraction in Montreal

Quite an interesting little museum with guided activities and special events. Very interesting to see the history of this historic farmhouse on the shore of the St. Lawrence, and see how it was remotely located to Montreal of the 1700's. Right next to a popular bike path - well worth stopping and checking out. Some electronic exhibits inside that the kids found interesting to watch as well. If you happen to be walking and it's open you can catch some AC, read about the stones used to build the house, some artifacts that were found representing the natives.

Beautiful site and park near the water. If you decide to go, I suggest you to do it at sunrise or the sunset. You can bring your camera or video camera and find interesting subjects. The landscape is nice too. Also this is a historical...
