As advertised, this is a huge forest with diversity. However, as someone visiting the place, I felt disappointed. Trails are flat and limited, good for an Autumn walk and a Winter cross country ski. In Summer, there are not enough done by the city to make it a good green space. Mosquitoes there is a lot. Functional space like illustration, interpretation and picnic space, it is not available and none. A positive way to look at it is, better days will be ahead. The neighborhood park Bois De Lissee is a good development example for Bois De Seraguay. In Bois De Seraguay, even cycling is not allowed....

Same hour: saw red bellied woodpecker, a male mallard duck and his wife swimming in the semi frozen swamps, a hawk, a squirrel thinking he's a flying squirrel. Wild-life bio students or zoology students would have a field trip if they visited this place, literally. I really was just hoping for funky growths in the waters and definitely found some. So much tweeting, so many birds' mating rituals and ceremonies. Highly recommended if you're looking for a little magic away...

Completely disappointed!! The address google maps takes you is not actually the main entrance!!! I was just able to go inside which seems a closed small green space with water side and too many mosquitoes!! So I got more than 20 bites without the chance of finding the main entry!!! I called for info and they said do not even bother to look for the entrance it's a very small reserve better to head to Bois...

Lots of mosquitoes! Stay on the main path. If you try to take the side path, it just leads to swamp land and you have to turn back the same path.
