It’s more than just an adventure; it's an invitation to weave a tale of romance amidst the exhilarating rush of the Lachine Rapids, right at the doorstep of Montreal's city center.

SCAM. Insane tourist trap. went there for a bachelor party we did a 3 hour rafting excursion, and over the course of 3 hours we went over only 4 rapids (1 minute), and coasted on a lazy river for the rest of the time (that wasn't safety and travel). Now there was the consideration that the conditions on the river that day weren't conducive for rapids, but our extremely knowledgeable guide ensured us that ALL the rapids on that river are PERMANENT and NAMED, therefore they were fully aware there were only 4 in our route.

While proceeding we kept asking if there were going to be more, how intense it would get, if the next set will look like that, ect... and each time our guide answered with something evasive or outright lied that there'd be a ton more, then surprise! back on the bus. They were lying because they understood how scammy this is, they evaded because they needed to keep people from being upset before they got to land and were no longer their problem. It felt extremely scummy, misleading and nefarious.

If the river isn't good for rafting, don't setup shop there. If you have to lie and mislead patrons, then clearly you know you're doing something wrong and scamming. If they were upfront about it I would just say this river kinda sucks for rafting, but all the evasion and lying leads me more to this is a SCAM and they know exactly what theyre up...

My husband and I were in Montreal for business, but decided to squeeze in a whitewater rafting trip while there. We chose Rafting Montreal as it was a short drive from our hotel. We were not disappointed. The Adventurer rafting trip was short with only 4 rapids, but the guide and the waves did not disappoint!

We had a very comprehensive safety talk before beginning the trip. Pictures were then taken by the company, which we could purchase later. Don’t hesitate to request pics of just your group in addition to the full boat. The price of $10 was very reasonable for pics all the boats on our trip.

Once on the water, our guide Diego, was very entertaining. We especially liked his Barbie themed hair, nails and helmet customization with a Barbie front and center for the adventure.

The waves were bigger than we expected, especially Big John, the last of the day where you had the option of jumping into the river. My husband and I did not choose to jump, but the rapids decided to throw me into the air anyway! I stayed in the boat, just one row back from where I started. I should have just jumped as it looked pretty fun!

We highly recommend...

Great experience! Staff was very responsive before our trip (we came in from the US, and could only communicate by email) They promptly responded and answered all our questions. Upon arriving the staff was warm, friendly and very knowledgeable, they helped with information and were genuinely interested in my experience with them making every effort to make it the best. The equipment was good quality, clean, and well maintained. Our guide was excellent! He was knowledgeable, very professional, humorous, and very proficient in both English and French. His skill and knowledge of the river was outstanding. The river rout was well thought out and included several class 4 and 5 rapids. The return to base was comfortable and the buss was in good repair. I have been on many rafting trips in many locations, in the US and several other countries. Rafting Montréal gets top score for a well run, well staffed, well equipped, rafting company. The trip was a great value for the money. I would highly recommend the experience and Rafting Montréal

This place is in Lasalle, about 20 minutes drive from Montreal downtown. It was an awesome jet boating experience. We had so much fun. The youngest in our group of 2 families is 8 and oldest is 55 with a few teenagers in between and we all had a good time. The services were great. If we do this again, we may come dressed in swimming suits and wear our swimming goggles. No matter what we do, we end up soaking wet. For $10, they email you the photos they take before the activity starts when everyone is still dry. They provide life jacket and windbreaker for each person but they don't have children size for the windbreakers. Our 8 and 10 years old wore adult small and were floating in them. We got to see river surfing for the first time ever. This is an indication of the strong currents creating the white water effect for both jetting and rafting.

This is one of the most peaceful and beautiful places around Montreal. The view is breath-stealing. Be it a daytime stroll in the weekend or a sunny day in summer, or a brisk walk through the path along the river where biking, skating and various other activities going on - is simply an experience you go back for. I have been going there regularly to hang out for 2 decades, and yet it is just as beautiful. Recently added/renovated and beautifully landscaped little wooden paths that end up on a long deck into the water add to the experience. All of this without making you feel crowded - it's spacious and a huge area that extends across several municipalities, along the body of water. Stunning! And don't forget the rafting if you like that kind of stuff.
