Lots of inclines and declines that can be a little slippery when the ground is wet. Be careful. And as my husband and I have a combined age of 151, it was a bit strenuous. But none of this takes away from the beauty of the scenery. An amazing hike. This is also a popular trail so either come early or late in the day. Or early Spring...

Beautiful trail. Definitely recommend bringing bug spray, there’s a lot of mosquitoes. We went in beginning of August for reference. Make sure to grab a stick from the side of the trail, very helpful. The entire trail takes about 2 hours. Bring lots of water, we’re not hikers or physically active so it was a little bit for us but would...

This is really worth the hype. It’s a bit of a walk in and I did the long loop so went straight to lake 1 and then along the others and back, just under 7 kms but so worth it...

ONE WEEK ITINERARY CANADIAN ROCKIES - NON HIKING 🇨🇦👇🏻 Upon request here is an itinerary for the Canadian Rockies, if you don’t want to hike and instead just want to visit the popular spots that you can stop at without any hiking required. 📌DAY ONE: 👉🏻Start in Banff - explore Banff’s town and get the Banff gondola up to Sulphur Mountain. I reccomend dining at Sky Bistro at the top. 🏠Spend the night in Banff 📌DAY TWO: 👉🏻Visit Two Jacks Lake and Lake Minnewanka (a popular place for a cruise down the lake) 👉🏻Another popular spot is Johnston canyon, I didn’t include it as there is a bit of hiking involved but it is very minimal and to reach the lower falls it’s more of a walk. 🏠Stay in Banff 📌DAY THREE: 👉🏻Visit the iconic Lake Louise and Moraine Lake - you can get a bus ticket that takes you to both in one day with time to stop off at lake shore for photos 🏠Stay in Banff 📌DAY FOUR: 👉🏻Drive the Icefields Parkway one of the most iconic roads in the world 👉🏻Stop at Bow Lake, Waterfowls Lake and Peyto Lake 👉🏻Could also add on columbia icefields excursion 🏠Stay in Jasper 📌DAY FIVE: 👉🏻Get the Jasper skytram for view over Jasper 👉🏻Do the valley of five lakes walk and / or visit Pyramid Lake. 🏠Stay in Jasper 📌DAY SIX: 👉🏻Drive back down IceFields Parkway to Yoho National Park, stopping off at Athabasca and Sunwapta Falls on way back. 🏠Stay in Yoho 📌DAY SEVEN: 👉🏻Visit Lake O Hara (must book bus reservation far in advance - if you can’t get a ticket then go to Emerald Lake instead) 👉🏻Visit Takkakaw Falls If you have any questions please let me know in the comments or DM me💛 And if you do want an itinerary that has a mix of hiking as well I posted a two and three week itinerary on this page - if you can’t find it comment HIKE & ill DM it to you 🤙🏼 Which National Park are you most excited to visit on this itinerary? 👇🏻🇨🇦

Banff and Jasper Travel Guide 👇👇👇 What does it look like to travel through Banff and Jasper National Park in early June? These are must see locations that will blow you away! 🏔 Moraine Lake - Banff National Park One of the most popular locations in Banff, be sure to arrive early if you want a parking spot! This iconic location is perfect for photographers and videographers! The scene drastically changes depending on the time of year with some snow adding an extra layer to this magical wonder! 📍Lake Louise - Banff National Park Another staple of Banff, this iconic lake is a must visit! You can even stay at the magical Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise hotel to wake up with the lake out your window! Canoeing on the lake is also incredible! ⛰ Icefields Parkway - Jasper National Park You can find incredible viewpoints of the mountains over the Athabaska River while on the Icefields Parkway between Banff and Jasper! Be sure to keep your camera ready! 💧Aylmer Lookout - Banff National Park This is an incredible 14.4 out and back trail with one of the best views of Lake Minnewanka. A must do hike if you are able, this again gives you and unforgettable view while in Banff! 📍Lake Minnewanka - Banff National Park Heading down to the lake front is also a must do before or after Aylmer Lookout! If you can’t make that hike, traveling to the lake itself is also incredible! ❄️ Athabasca Glacier - Banff National Park Exploring the Columbia Ice Field is an incredible experience if you are looking for some glacier views! Harder to find nowadays, this may be a perfect stop for you! 🏔 Valley of the Five Lakes - Jasper National Park This moderate level 2.9 loop hike will blow your socks off with some incredibly clear water and amazing mountain views! Well worth adding to your list of hikes! As always, please follow the leave no trace principles while in the parks. Be respectful of others giving plenty of space. Wait your turn to take pictures and please don’t cut in front of someone, be patient. Together we can make the parks wonderful for everyone to enjoy!

📍Valley of the Five Lakes - It’s a 5.1-mile loop trail near Jasper, Alberta. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 2 h 15 min to complete. 💫 The best times to visit this trail are May through October. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash. 💫 This trail is extremely popular and the parking lot is almost always full, no matter what time users arrive in any season. 💫 After the shorter loop, hikers come to a junction and can either complete that loop and head back to the parking lot or they can turn to the north and do the very large loop around the first lake which is this route. #canadianrockies🇨🇦 #reelitfeelit❤️💪🌈👑 #viralreelsvideo❤️ #reelkarofeelkro #reelsofinstagram😍 #visitalberta #visitjasper
