One of the most beautiful place and definitely a bucket list location at Bruce peninsula Tobermory
There were plenty of parking spots , but due to covid restrictions only half of the spots were open so it’s advisable to make the parking spot reservation online in advance .parking was bit expensive and it cost around 35$ for a day visit including the full day park parking .
The grotto trek was so beautiful , we took the shortest trek , following the green lane from the parking .
It took about 20 minutes trek tome ., the initial part of trek is around the beautiful lake , you would cross the beautiful bridge . It was serene during the fall colors.
Once you reach the cliff , you could see the beautiful water of Lake Huron . Water is so clean and pure . It’s crystal clear green and bluish water. The rocks were easy to climb and any one could climb 🧗♀️ it with out a struggle.
You could sit on the rocks and enjoy the clear water and also the islands near by gives a most beautiful view.
This place is a bliss a must visit bucket list item at Tobermory
*there were washrooms available at the Groto .
The people were friendly and also well behaved . I could see people ensuring the place is clean and well maintained not throwing their garbages in public places. Let’s all ensure to do it . As this place is a natural wonder , no matter we should allow this place to be spoilt.
Choose the right day to visit this place , probably summer time or early fall. Don’t plan to visit when the weather is cold.
This natural wondet is just at 3 and half hour driving distance from Toronto .
My take on this place: hope it helps

The area is absolutely stunning, with water so clear and vibrant that it looks almost unreal. The colors shift beautifully under the sunlight, and the rocky shoreline adds a rugged charm to the scenery. That said, it’s important to note that it can get quite busy, especially on weekends, with many visitors coming to enjoy the views, swim, or simply relax by the shore. If you’re looking for more peace and solitude, visiting during the week is usually a better option.
If you’re coming from Stormhaven Campground, the hike takes about an hour, with a trail that offers pleasant views along the way. From the frontcountry campground, it’s much shorter—less than a 30-minute walk—though there’s a gentle slope to navigate. You can even bring a cart close to the water to carry your gear, but carts are not peasy to carry on the shoreline. The water is refreshingly cold, so be prepared if you plan to swim.
A short five-minute walk will take you to Grutto, another beautiful spot that’s worth checking out during your visit. Some visitors bring paddleboards or kayaks, and although the water can be wavy at times, it’s still a fantastic place for paddling, offering incredible views and a memorable...

The main attraction of Indian Head Cove is undoubtedly its unbelievably clean and transparent waters. The clarity of the water is simply remarkable; you can see right through to the bottom. The stunning shades of turquoise and emerald create a mesmerizing visual experience that feels like stepping into a hidden paradise.
The rocky cliffs surrounding the cove add a touch of rugged beauty to the landscape, making it a perfect spot for photography enthusiasts. I couldn't resist capturing the beauty of the cove from various angles.
Keep in mind that due to the popularity of Indian Head Cove, it can get crowded during peak times. Arriving early in the morning or later in the afternoon can help you enjoy the serenity of the place with fewer...
