Read moreBeautiful hiking options with several trails based on level of difficulty and time. We parked at a free parking lot and took an unmanned trail called the "Moore Street Side Trail " It was labeled "use at your own risk," but was a fairly well-manicured pathway and wasn't too far of a hike in to meet up with the Bruce trail. The trails are well marked and relatively easy to follow. The levels of difficulty at Lion's Head are very accurately stated, which we appreciated (for example, we've been to some provincial parks where the trail difficulty can be misleading, as it's not accurate to what the difficulty level is really like for your average person). The efforts to get to the Lion's Head lookout & Lion's Head point were absolutely worth it. Incredible views! Along the way, we also encountered the Giant's Cauldron potholes, which were an awesome sight and made for some cool photos! We also stopped over at the Lighthouse & beach area, where it was great to see that tropical looking water up close! My husband & I stopped here on our way to Tobermory. We spent 3 hrs here and felt it was an adequate amount of time to hike to the point and back and for stopping for photos, etc) but felt we would've loved to have a couple more hours to really enjoy it and get further along the trail. So our only regret was not having more time here! Overall, a highly recommended visit for hiking &...
