Took one of my kids to Hy Line today and did the 8 runs. As first time zip liners I expected Hy Line to be good for a Manitoba attraction……but was very impressed with the entire experience. The runs were bigger than I expected! I am not a fan of heights but became more comfortable with each run. Likely would have chickened out on the big run had my son not been there to witness my cowardice, but I did it and it was amazing! The entire operation was well run and efficiently orchestrated by multiple generations of family members. Equipment was in good condition, received good instruction from staff, and felt safe at every step. Great place run by great staff! 6 stars out of 5. Will bring the rest of the family next year!

Excellent zip line experience, and particularly impressive for Manitoba! Be sure to bring water if you go on a hot day, as the hike to the second zip line can be tiring for some (though there are benches and rest stops for breaks, and it is possible to pay to get a ride up). The lines are great fun, the 8 line package brings with it a delightfully long zip line from a tower atop a hill, which was quite worth it in my experience. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the Saskatoon berries are plentiful and delicious on the way from each landing zone to the next line (At least during mid-late July). By

What a great way to celebrate a milestone birthday this year. This was my first time ziplining and the most fun thing I've done that I can remember. I loved everything about the experience other than the very challenging walk straight up a hill after the first zip line - very exhausting! I recommend to pay the extra $5 for an ATV ride to the platforms. The property is beautiful and awesome views of the valley. The guides were patient, friendly and made it a great day for us. I can't wait to go back! Thanks Hywire!

NOT KID FRIENDLY. Allow me to explain. First off, the zipline was fun and amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed that part. The zipline guides were friendly and welcoming. Now for the bad. We showed up and there was no explanation of anything. The parking lot was kind of full and was "fit where you can" with no clear indication of what to do or where to go or who actually worked there. We wandered around the area for a good 20 minutes before we could even figure out who actually worked there. That's not even so bad, the bad part came with the older couple from the restaurant. They don't like kids. They might try and disagree but it was clear that they don't. When we got there the old lady was yelling at a kid not to run on a bridge. Fine enough, but maybe tell the parent and let them yell at their kids. One of my kids walked in a pile of dirt and she sternly told to them to get out of the garden to which I enforced this. Not sure how we are supposed to know it was a garden, it was just a mound of dirt next to a tree and more dirt that was not garden (there were no flowers sprouted in the garden to indicate it was, in fact, a garden). If it's so precious then put up a little garden fence or sign. It looks like any other dirt. Also, youre unable to greet us and explain where to go but you can tell kids to stay off your dirt garden? Then my kids were pumped after the zipline (which was fantastic, but different people) and were joking around while one was sitting on a stool beside me. Then that same lady told them to stop fooling around or they'd break the stools... No, they were fine. They were just sitting on them. Then the real kicker. They have a bunch of dogs that roam around and beg for food and stuff. They did let the kids play with the dogs (as most kids want to do) then while excited and having fun one of my kids chased a dog back into the dirt garden. Apparently the dogs are allowed there and lured my kid there. I didn't notice or I would have immediately told them to get out. Then I heard the man behind me yell, very angrily at my kids that they were told to stay out of there. Very loud and angry, very inappropriate to yell at someone's kids like that. They immediately lost any tip I was planning to give. Part of me wished I would have yelled back about not yelling at my kids but maybe it was for the best that I didn't get into a fight right there. So be warned, the zipline is fun and highly recommended but if you have kids who act like kids when they get excited then the old couple will more than likely yell at them. If you are okay with that then go have fun. If not than I'd recommend not going here. The old couple does not like kids and if you want your kids to get excited and act like kids then they will not be welcomed by the old couple from the restaurant area. Unless you have super perfect kids who sit quietly by your side at all times. Then you'd...

I travelled there in 2020 for the first time, looking for something to do within Manitoba. I was thoroughly amazed and impressed that we had something of this caliber within our province.

I had a friend coming in from out of town, who was unfamiliar of the activities in and around Winnipeg. I came up with the ziplining, since it was something that I was aware of.

I pre booked several weeks in advance on a day that worked for the both of us and that they had spots available for.

On the day of the event, we drove from Winnipeg (2 hours) to the site. As we got there, their gate was closed.

We had received no notification by text or email of the closure. We were able to reach their voicemail and left a message. They contacted us a day later to let us know that they were closed.

Not a very professional run business and am disappointed and embarrassed about the...

It was our first time at Hy-Wire Adventures and first time ziplining experience for some of us. Alan and his crew are very professional, knowledgeable, and hospitable. They made sure that everyone is safe but still having fun.Their place have gorgeous views and amazing ziplines! The dogs are also very adorable and they will follow your group on every trail.

We unfortunately got a flat tire on the way to Hy-Wire, but they made sure that we still had the best experience. They helped us find a tire and even helped us replace the tire on our vehicle. And shout out to one of their guides, Adam, who even lent us his truck so we can pick up a replacement tire!

The best service we've ever received from any place and the best Ziplining adventure in Manitoba! We definitely recommend this place and we will sure be...
