Amazing location... Loved it!! Has all the fun that the place claims on their website. Nice friendly staff, beautiful drive inside the park, clean beach, 3 waterfalls, walking trails, bike trails, washrooms at almost every parking stop, ample parking. There are 15 parking areas, one at every major attraction, which kinda made it convenient with kids & elders.

Downside:

Park closes at 5pm, which makes the place a bit expensive, we paid $28 CAD for 1 car entry. Plus this makes the pleasant trip time bound & everyone's seen rushing between sites rather than stopping to enjoy this beauty.

Place can be improved having more signs for trails marking alternative & shorter routes to sites for kids/elders.

Bonus:

Drive across town of St. Martins is a beauty. Fortunate for us, it was low tide so we got to stop & explore the Fundy caves !!

Must visit place if you are in Atlantic...

The worst stop in our 3 week tour of beautiful Atlantic Canada earlier this fall.

The "view points" offer little to no view. Hiking paths are poorly maintained and not well marked.

They wrap cables directly around trees for people to hang on to so they can hike up and down steep trails, causing the cables to wear into the trees, cutting through the bark and killing them.

I'm by no means an environmentalist, but it's disheartening to see a park, that's suppose to preserve nature for people's enjoyment, to harm it.

The staff could care less about your experience within the park. You know it's not a good sign when the first thing upon arrival they tell you is they will lock the gates at one minute past 5 so you need to leave before then...

It's a spectacular drive and most breathtaking views. I will go back every year. BUT....Make sure you are back to the gate by the time specified on the information sheet they give you. They did not mention it to us, we had intended on using the road to Sussex at the end but when we reached it they shut it down and blocked it off. We had to turn and drive back to the beginning. When we got back to the gate we and 7 other cars were locked inside. They close the gate and lock it when they leave. It's triple locked and no way of getting around it. Someone called Crave restaurant and they called the grounds keeper, who live somewhere inside the park. He came and unlocked it, after 2...

Fantastic views around each corner, great place to spend a day. Google maps first took us down a dirt road to get there (think it was because I had no tolls set). We back tracked and followed the signs out of Saint Martins, now problems. The cost is $10 CN for adults. Length is 27 KM and there is a hiking/biking trail and road the entire length. The road is good and you can take your RV. Many of the overlooks have parking for them some do not, those that cannot are well marked. There are many fantastic overlooks, short hike to falls and streams and a nicely stocked gift shop. Suggest you bring your lunch as there is not much to purchase on the trail.

The Fundy Trail Parkway is more than a trail. It is a huge park featuring a 30-km (19-mi.) drive hugging the coast with stunning views in every direction. There is a fascinating eco system, access to Long Beach stretching for 2.5 km along the bay, 3 discovery beaches, and over 35 km of hiking and biking trails. You can see, feel, touch, hear and smell the wonder of the Bay of Fundy at the Fundy Trail Parkway. You can spend a few hours or an entire day! Located just less than an hour from Saint John and Sussex.
