Amazing place! The water was a bit cold, but warmed up once you got in. While I was swimming, I saw a crab underwater with my goggles! There apparently are sometimes lots of jellyfish, but there were luckily none when we went this time. (Aug 7, 2024) The sand was very warm and felt really good! On the way back I got a splinter from the wooden hand rail, but luckily there was a first aid spot along the boardwalk. They got the wood out with tweesers, and gave me a gauss pad, a wet wipe, and band aid for my deerfly or horsefly bite. There was a washroom on the boardwalk, but it was blocked off this time, when I went. The water refill station near the parking lot had weird tasting water, and almost tasted salty. They are still trying to find the reason why. (It's drinkable, but tastes very bad.) I refilled my water bottle at "Ryans" bike shop washroom, and the water there was way better! A bit of a walk from Kelly's beach though. Overall, Kelly's was a great place! I'll come back next time I'm in...

nice day drive from Moncton or Miramichi or further points north or south. nice boardwalk, on a clear day you can see the windmills on PEI or take a walk on the beach , and keep an eye out for seals in the water that watch you go by.. a nice long beach with very little rocks, (mostly sand) and a place for everyone, supervised beach right at the end of the boardwalk and take a walk for 20-30 minutes to the right and you will be able to work on your all over tan. only downside sometimes are the marsh flies, but a fly swatter and baby oil will usually take...

A beautiful beach! We got to see pipers and plovers along with some other more common bird species. The park is very well maintained and definitely a must see if you are in the area. The staff at the visitors centre were incredibly helpful and kind. Most people were respectful of posted signage, especially important at Kellys beach to protect wildlife. I appreciate that the park staff are very diligent at caring for creation in the park. We were sad that the cantina was closed but it is the end of the season. All in all a great trip to enjoy...
