Just wow. From the moment we arrived, the service was unbelievable. A super warm welcome, with many people around to help

The grounds are impeccable, quiet, serene and the amenities (shower/bathroom and even porta potties) are beyond reproach. We stayed in a tipi - which was super comfortable and contained everything we needed for our stay.

We had one meal at on-site restaurant (Mel’s). The menu was not your typical camping menu / and the food was really, really tasty and super inexpensive. Definitely recommend saving one meal for this place.

Highly suggest taking the guided tour. In additional to hearing some wonderful (and personal) history from our guide Liam, we watched a movie in a beautiful cinema and learned how to make bannock (traditional bread) in the sand. We ate delicious meat and drank refreshing tea. Actually, I can’t imagine coming here, enjoying the beautiful land - and not taking a few hours to listen and learn. Take the tour, you won’t regret it.

Overall, my kids and I rated this part of our summer road trip a 5/5 in all areas.

Nicholas, Liam , Tristan to name a few - you guys are...

We stayed in a tipi - such a unique and upscale glamping experience, it's worth the money! The tipi was spacious, clean, and comfy and included firewood, a fan, mini fridge, and heated mattress covers. Even though we visited on a hot day, the temperature inside the tipi was just right. We were able to use the shower and bathroom facilities inside the Heritage Park. We felt super welcomed by the team and loved learning about the Mi'kmaq culture. The nearby Mother Earth Kitchen serves delicious gourmet food (the moose steak sandwich is a must!). With trails, river activities, and guided tours, it’s a perfect effortless...

This site is incredible!! We did the experience package, which is perfectly affordable per person. We had a local guide (Liam!) tell us incredible stories about his people and their history. We learned so much and it helped us change our preconceived notions. The cooking portion of the experience is absolutely delightful and we LOVED our experience here! The museum is well done and lightly informative too! Highly recommend biking the experience over just the...
