Espace René-Lévesque — Attraction in New Carlisle

I didn’t know all those details about René-Lévesque. My dad was a big fan and I knew he was responsible for trying to make “our” province, a country… But wow, this guy is the reason we are such a nice province now, seriously. He was incredible and even me who grew up here, didn’t know how much he did for us. That said, it’s worth the stop even if you’re limited on time. It’s only 7$ and if you read quickly, you can go around in 30 minutes + or-. You’ll definitely learn a good part of Quebec history by stoping there. If it rains, they have umbrellas and it ends with a nice (worth watching) 15 minutes vidéo...

If your a fan of the man this is a great chioce! Do the audio tour and watch the movie after, go on a nice day so you can sit down and enjoy the story of his life. Great for an older crowd and the staff are very friendly! Audio is available in french...

Visité au début juillet. Un endroit pour en apprendre beaucoup sur un ancien Premier Ministre marquant du Québec. Beau bâtiment récent (2018) Accueil gentil avec le sourire. Pour la visite, a l' extérieur, l' audio guide est nécessaire, on vous raconte des faits sur la vie de René Lévesque, de sa naissance a son décès. Un personnage controversé, aimé ou détesté, il a marqué le Québec d' aujourd'hui. Plus de 45 stations, avec photos et bien commentées par l' audio guide. Ma visite a duré plus d' une heure. On m' a prêté un parapluie, a plus de 27c c'était apprécié. En résumé si vous passez a New Carlisle, un petit village paisible arrêtez, vous y apprendrai beaucoup....
