Great provincial park campground! This is a terrific place to stay when visiting the Twillingate area. Campground is well kept with hot showers and coin laundry. If you are like me you will enjoy camping next to the ocean in earshot of the gentle lapping waves. There is an easy hike in the park which is a must.

Beautiful park with so many campsites with a view of the lake. Washrooms clean with laundry facilities. Water treated with UV, we drank it for a week, no problems. Staff were very helpful, friendly and worked hard to keep the place spotless. They even have recycling bins at every site!

Great little park off the beaten path, but worth a detour. Spotless and pristine in a beautiful seaside setting. Great sites with privacy and views. Take the nature trail for a great hike. Lovely spot

We stayed a couple of nights at this park. The two gentlemen running the park were wonderful. They fought over which site was the nicest and the guy with the terminal one. We saw the other site too and they were both great, flat for our TC and on the water, but the one we had included easy access to the water and a granite knob sticking out into the bay. I awoke early one morning to get the most incredible sunrise images over the far shore and islands. We also hiked the trail out to the head and enjoyed it greatly. The park is something like twenty minutes (an easy drive) from Twillingate and twenty in the other direction from the Beothuk Archeological Site - right in the middle between them. We met the park guys again and again and racked up a few hours, I suspect, sharing stories and learning about...

Stayed for 3 nights in this lovely little park. Gary in the booth was super friendly! We have a travel trailer and were on a great site close to the comfort station. We found that to be very clean and everything worked. Garbage and recycling collected daily. There was a fire ban on while we were there so that was disappointing. The park was pretty full but noise wasn't an issue. I'm sure the hiking trail is way more then 2kms as advertised.😊 Walked the periphery of the park daily with my dogs. Check out the history of the old tramway in the park! Wifi is a challenge! It is a convenient place to stay to explore Twillingate...

Don't bother to pay extra for water or electric at the site, the electricity is 15 amp with a GFI, so it's essentially useless for RV use. The breaker trips if you look at it wrong. And the water is not potable, so unless you have enough propane to boil it that warn you to avoid ingesting any. They do have some beautiful sites with no service which make more sense. Oh, and the wifi at the comfort station works, but it doesn't offer internet access, so I'm not sure...
