Frank Stronach Park — Attraction in Newmarket

This is the worst park I've ever been to. There's so much unused land that can be used to add more to this park but it remains unutilized. We could've had a tennis court, basketball court, baseball diamond or even a skate park but instead there's a splash pad which is useless in this country because it's only used for maybe 4 months (June-Sept), if that. Truly pathetic, only gets one star because it looks decent and is always clean when I visit. Only enjoyable for kids and those who enjoy walking in circles because everything else in this park is a major failure. Did I mention how much I hate the splash pad? SO pointless. This park could be so much more and it pains me to see it not being developed...

2022 September 4★ A nice size park with a soccer field, splash pad and playground. The playground is a decent size with a rope climbing apparatus. There are swings and a slide. The main star of the playground is the rope structure which there are two. The soccer field is lighted with a seating area.

The splash pad is bright and colorful. Great in the summer with areas to sit and plenty of shade.

Free Parking within the park for about 14 cars. Parking on the adjacent street available. Definitely...

Came with a friend and our kids couple days ago and loved it. Had a great time at the splash pad having a water fight. Kids really enjoyed the park as well and loved the picnic tables under the shade and it was in between the playground and splash pad makes it good to keep an eye out on the kids, great chairs for tanning and watching the kids at the splash pad, has parking lot and soccer field 😊. Shade and lots of grass area. Can play soccer and cool off in the splash...
