This place was amazing. Not sure why I see bad reviews here at all. The stalls all had shade for all animals. There was fresh water for all the animals. We took our son and brought a friend with her little girl and all of us had a blast feeding, petting the animals and the children also had a blast in the playground area. We spent 4 hours here easily and had a blast. Please go check out this little slice of heaven here. Your children will have a blast and the animals will warm your heart. They also sell some animals and fresh eggs. Great price and great time. Well worth the hour drive for us both and worth the price. This farm is a little gem in the Ottawa Valley. You were able to feed the animals as you went along seeing them at your own pace. The owner came and talked to us for a bit and was very friendly and lovely. This place is a must for families with little ones. You won't regret it,

I surprised my husband with taking him to the farm and doing the ‘Help Farmer Ruth’ experience. It was incredible…from bottle feeding calves, walking donkeys, holding baby goats (not even 24 hours old), and much more. The animals are all very happy and well cared for. When we arrived, Ruth was feeding them all fresh fruits and vegetables and making her rounds to be sure they were all taken care of. The land is well maintained and nicely set up for people to enjoy themselves while visiting. Ruth was very personable, kind and friendly. She was happy to answer all of the many questions we had and answered with pride. You can tell by the way she talks about her farm and her animals that she loves what she does. She was so pleasant and we had a wonderful time getting to know her and what her farm is all about. We highly recommend visiting and can’t wait to go back in the near future!

Love love this place, our family has visited 3+ times , I’ve even bought by bunny from Ruth! All the animals love to interact and can tell they are loved and well taken care of. People must keep in mind there are rules when handling the animals. Ruth does a fantastic job and letting you know what to feed each one and how to do it properly. She 10000% puts her animals health and well being first which reflects on how happy they all are. If you plan to visit and allow kids to go wild with no supervision this isn’t the place for you. This is how an animal farm should be run. Calm and Tranquil. And remember this is her home, she allows people to come enjoy for a very low cost and so much to see!

Came a fair way to this amazing place with my daughter today, and we had a wonderful experience!

Lots of different animals to see and touch, and a few really great play structures for kids to play on. All of the animals were super gentle, well fed and happy. We loved buying food for them and hand feeding! We even got to see lambs that were born just this morning, and got to touch them as well. We spent over 3 hours there and easily could have stayed longer.

Ruth and her husband are extremely hard working, kind people who are proud of their farm and animals. You can easily see the care that goes into this place. Ruth took the time to talk to us about the animals and farm, and was super friendly.

I am going to come back again this week with both of my kids - we can’t wait to return! Highly recommend this place for kids and adults of all ages. Such a great day!! Thank you Ruth for sharing your...
