The site of the petroglyphs and the Learning Centre put you in touch with past generations of the First Peoples of North America. It allows you to appreciate a piece of the culture and history of the Ojibwe, and the lessons they have to teach. Allow 2-3 hours minimum for just the Learning Centre and Petroglyphs. Wear comfortable shoes, there's two short walks from the parking lot to the Learning Centre, and the Learning Centre to the Petroglyphs. The paths are small stone screening, it will fill sandals.
