Coles Bay is a beautiful place to enjoy some sun. I have been going to this location for many many years. There is not too much soft sand to lay on. If you want to be comfortable bring a foamy it's mostly rock. The water is not very deep, it's shallow for quite a distance and when the tide goes out there is lots of empty space available. There is a parking lot there so parking is available. Enjoy your fun times in the Sun at Coles Bay.

It's a North Saanich hidden jewel. Parking is available there are picnic tables on the paths and some open areas amongst the trees. It is generally a quiet spot to relax for an afternoon. Beautiful on a calm day. Be aware there are tides. When the tide is full there's very little beach.

Great place to head down to as the sun is setting over the water. It’s so quiet & tranquil with the most beautiful lookout. Bring down a glass of wine and a picnic whilst keeping a look out for the seals making an appearance out of the water. Such a nice place to end the day!

We come down to this little, secluded bay where you can wander and skip rocks at low tide! Beautiful trails to explore in the forested area to the beach. Outhouses are conveniently located near the parking area, a couple of picnic tables in a grassy field or just take your picnic to the beach. Main trail (gravel) is well maintained but is a little steep as you near the beach. If you have difficulty walking you may have to stop at the beach unless someone assists you to maneuver over the logs in order to reach the water(low tide) high tide there isn’t much beach. Low tide is perfect for exploring the beach, find little tide pools and shells or just sitting enjoying a...

Please do not discard products, specifically man made ones, if you attend a park, beach, or natural biome preserve, please take your human products and pieces with you, to a waste management utility or container for recollection, reuse, recirculation and collection.
