Did you know that there are 2 distinct indigenous languages in Labrador? I didn’t know either, and now I have learned that fact plus so much more after yesterday’s visit. Did you know that the early trappers would fill the dolls with tea bags in order to carry the tea safely and to fill out the dolls? These “Tea Dolls” are on display complete with their story, and how, when the tea was used up then the dolls would have local replacement stuffings.
