Lovely museum! Very friendly staff, they told us a lot about life at this place in the old days. One lady even demonstrated how they make wool in the old days, with real machine and everything. I wish I'd taken some pictures of that. There's also a cute little quilt on display near there - at least I have a pic of that. Beautiful rooms with signs describing what life was like at that time (I attached some pics of one), also a cool basement with display of fake cheese, wine and dried herbs. In the dinning room there's even a fancy fake meal laid out on the table and the room next to it has tea cookies and biscuits, very nice to look at. The only negative thing I could think of is that the house has too little windows, especially for an old house like this when electricity wasn't a thing. A bit dark too see even in the daytime but nothing else is bad about this place.

Bronte Creek Provincial Park is a fantastic spot for outdoor fun, offering something for everyone. The hiking trails are scenic and easy to navigate, perfect for a peaceful walk or a family outing. The large open spaces are great for picnics, and the children’s farm is a big hit with the little ones. The swimming pool is a great spot to cool off in the summer, and the park’s natural beauty really shines year-round. Whether you're into hiking, wildlife watching, or just relaxing in nature, Bronte Creek is a must-visit.

Trails are empty even on a Sunday afternoon in the middle of the summer. Barely any bugs. Ontario park pass paid for itself within a month. Best park for long audiobook walks in the GTA :) Worth the drive!

Spruce Lane Farmhouse is located within Bronte Creek Provincial Park, closest to parking lot F. The Farm serves as a living history museum depicting life in late Victorian era in Ontario. I visited on a beautiful summer day and had an immersive experience at the farm as if going back in time. The house had great attention to detail in every room. The decor, props, and furniture were beautifully designed and carefully arranged for optimal viewing angle. There were also interactable objects such as the water pump in the backyard or the dumbwaiter.

The volunteers dressed up in Victorian clothing and tirelessly answered any question you may have on the house, such as its history and life back in the days. I was impressed by their professionalism and friendliness. One of them even played the antique piano.

The house was definitely the highlight, but don't forget to check out the horses and other...
