Wave Pool was amazing! (Food was meh, 2 kids + 2 adults we paid $225 for the deluxe family day pass) I've lived in Strathroy for 12 years and I never realized there was a cool place like this nearby! They have an awesome wave pool with huge waves that are just as big as the ocean in Nova Scotia. The kids and adults had a blast. There was 4-5 water slides that were very fun, we spent at least an hour doing water slides. One of them is a thrilling rocket slide that is safe for kids and thrilling enough to cause 3 out of 4 of us to chicken out. We went on a Monday, so the crowd was not bad at all, barely any waiting for anything. We got to do 2 rounds of go karting, batting cages, rock climbing, bumper cars, golf driving range, wave pool and water slides. The negative: pricing is very complicated and confusing. We bought the top package of day pass and still didn't get to do mini putt for some reason. The food was very bland and low quality. We bought burgers and they didn't even have lettuce or tomatoes or pickles or cheese - it was literally a burger buns and a meat patty. Fried were ok, onion rings were not great. Food price was ok. The inside area has seating above the arcade - or you can sit outside at big picnic tables. My daughter felt like it would have been better if there was a real pool not just a wave pool. There's a splash pad for little ones. Over all we had a great time, we spent 5-6 hours there for $225 for 4 people, we could have stayed a couple longer but we were all tuckered out from the wave pool and climbing the water slide stairs!

I visited on a Friday at 1230pm. Wait times for bracelets were about 10mins, $40 each for just the water park areas. There’s a splash pad with a “lifeguard” that doesn’t watch the children they go a bunch at a time down the slide, completely unsafe. “Restaurant” by splash pad and water slides had about a 30 mins wait to order then it was 10 mins from order time to when I received my below average food. Prices for food were reasonable. Girl at the till couldn’t give me a receipt and when I asked for one to be re printed as I needed an itemized receipt, she was unable to troubleshoot the issue and I wasn’t able to get the receipt I needed. Disgusting mess at the condiments station, all the tables were dirty and our table was so wobbly it was nearly sideways - LOL! Water slides have very long line ups. Lifeguards and staff are all teenagers. Arcade hasn’t been updated since the 90s, don’t even know how they could re launch this park and not update the arcade. Need cash for tokens to play arcade games, shortly after realized that all the games were out of service and the ones that were in service took our coins and weren’t working. Overall I would not recommend this park what so ever. *** the warning sign about the arcade games not working and to consider this when getting tokens was posted upstairs on their second coin machine, not at the main level coin machine everyone uses *** see photos.

It's unfortunate what East Park has become... I visited on a weekend during the morning and played a round of mini putt on the golf pro (harder of the two), visited the driving range, the go-carts, and the intercity arcade. Mini-putt; the course is very much dated, and could very much benefit from some restoration. -They have since changed go-carts to time based, rather than lap based, depending on who your racing, you probably get about an average of 5 laps. -The arcade is a joke. If you want an arcade, go to social bowl or the rec room, because you will be very disappointed with East Parks arcade. During my visit, about 80% of the machines were out of order, many machines not labeled as out of order. -Food: I had a "Jumbo" hot dog, jumbo would not be the term I use to describe what I received, and for $3.50, I guess I expected more. I remember visiting East park in the past, and unfortunately, it's not nearly what I remembered enjoying many years ago.

Unfortunately this was not a great experience to the park, this time. I think Greed rather than common sense took over and the park allowed far too many people admittance, than what the number and age of employees as well as the resources available at the park, could handle. For the amount charged, you would expect the park to be clean enough for humans (more on that later) and be able to enjoy the ammentities rather than playing human tetris along ever stop.

Arrival: Sunday, September 3rd (OK, I know last long weekend of summer) @ 11 AM

Details: 4 Children + 4 Adults with a total of 5 Ultimate Passes ($90 regular but our friends had them as a gift) - Free for the purpose of this discussion. 3 Waterpark only passes (we didnt want them as we adults were swimming in the waterpark bit had to get them or we could go to the waterpark area with the kids) plus 2 go-kart extra passes (because who doesn't like go carts) cost $115, on top of the $500 for the ultimate passes they had. We would have had to pay over $700 for all 8 to do everything there.

1st Stop - Bumper Cars and Rock Climbing This part was actually fun! No issues or complaints, but by the end of that one hour period, we definitely started to feel like packed Sardines inside the small arcade area. The wait time for Rock Climbing was super long as they only did one kid at a time even though they had room for more.

2nd Stop - Batting Cages Again not too many problems other than wait times.

3rd Stop - Go Karts An Hour Wait

4th Stop @ about 1 PM and we were there until 4:30 PM (this is important to know 3.5 Hours @ Waterpark) Kids went into wave pool for an hour in the remaining 2.5 hours, the kids went on a total of 2 water slides because of long lines to get a tube or mat (because there wasn't enough for everyone) and then had to wait in line for their turn to go down the waterslide. 45 mins for each slide to complete the process. We left as it just wasn't worth it and far too hot

Observations from that Day: Not enough staff on to manage the crowds. There should have been a limit allowed to enter the waterpark or had additional staff to manage the lines and ensure that swimmers passed their tubes/mats to the next in line, because a lot didn't. Bathrooms were absolutely disgusting and not fit for humans. Toilets were all clogged and had feminine products floating for all to see

Observations/Recommendations: They need to invest some of their riches they earn to update the park. Everything is old and slightly sketchy. The slides are all patched. They need to invest in new slides or new attractions the Arcade needs massive updates, as half the machines don't work Create a Parent Non-Swimmer pass at 50% of the price. Feels wrong parents have to pay full price to chaperone theor children, not using anything Need more shaded areas for people to get...

I signed my daughter up for Jr Fun Camp. I also purchased the Meal plan. I told my daughter what she'd be doing for the week. Super excited. Great. Before I go into detail, yes, she had a good time, bummed out about a couple things, but a had fun nonetheless. So she'd probably give 4.5 stars. The Meal plan, and parents, when you see "Meal plan" , it is not a "meal plan". It is only a hot lunch, and you still have to send a lunch/snacks with your child. Everyone I have talked to, parents and non parents, all had the same answer to what a meal plan is... Lunch and snacks are provided all day. If I had known I'd still have to send a lunch with my child, I would not have purchased the "meal plan". Instead of this information being on the website or even in the confirmation email you receive, (it does say if your child wants ADDITIONAL lunch or snacks to send money but not a lot of money with them) they single you out in front other parents telling you it's a Hot lunch and you are still required to send snacks and such. The "Meal plan" should be called Hot lunch on the website and clearly state that you need to still provide a full lunch for your child. Parents know that if it's a Hot lunch, we will make sure our children have snacks and such. There's that. As for the activities, she did not go on the bumper cars, she got to climb the rock wall only once, literally, went up once and that was it,(??) but did golfing for an entire morning, (really??) , and did crafts,.( I'm sorry, but if I was the child, I would not want to do crafts while at a Waterpark camp, just my opinion) . The wave pool restrictions are very understandable about how that is done which I explained to her before she even went. Luckily, she did get to go in the wave pool, but just once. At least she did get to go in. She did the climbing gym 2 days in a row,(again, really??) go karts only once as well. Overall, she did have a lot of fun and made new friends, and liked her counselor. I strongly recommend changing the wording in the packages and clearly stating that some activities will not be done. She was upset about a few things, and that's not what this camp was supposed to bring for her.

I was going to send an email, but really what's the point. Reviews seem to work better. I would send my child again for the camp, because she had fun, however, as a parent, changes need to be made to your packages and the wording behind them. I wouldn't want any other parent to feel the way I felt that first pick up when I was singled out about the snacks. A meal plan is providing for the children all day. A hot lunch is strictly that and as parents we understand that snacks and such are to be sent as well. Please have your website changed to reflect what is actually expected, and what may or may not happen with the...

Place is fun, but some serious flaws in their management. and Safty systems

they have forced me to give them a 1 star rating. First all let me say I've been going here for years several time a year. we are a family of 5, 3 children. Today Aug 26th 2018 I purchased water park admission and go kart passes as I had on 2 previous times this summer, when we tried to get on the karts one of the employees asked my youngest son how old he was my son answered 8 truthfully and the employee said my Son was too young, hears where the safety issue was, on 2 previous times this summer my son has been here and driven the go karts no problem. this time however he was denied which broke his heart. I went to the Managment at east park and explained the situation, said that my son had been allowed to ride on 2 separate occasions this summer and this time denied, I began to explain that there was obviouly an issue with the policy or the training of the staff here because he was allowed to drive before, however I did not get that far as I was rudely cut off by the Manager " Let me just ask you 2 questions?" how tall Is your Son, how old is your son? sorry he is not allowed to drive I raised my Voice and said again that this has broke my Sons heart, to which he condescending replied Really? So this time I yelled at him you broke my Son F------ heart at which point he kicked us out.

So here's to safety issue number 2 I took my family around the other side of the building and was immediately able to slip into the water park entrance, since I had already purchased the braclets. as I was smugly enjoying watching my kids have fun I got to thinking of, it was this easy for me to sneak in not 5 min after being kicked out how hard would it be for someone who wants to cause real harm..

I know it's kind of cliche for me to post this after sneaking back in but I don't care, be warned people there is inadequate training for staff offered here and it's only a matter of time before someone gets...
