No glamour or monument, not even a sign to denote that you are at the most southern spot in Canada. Marked paths are just plain wrong. The eastern side path abruptly ends in thick forest ( all the locals say to avoid it).
Messy, not maintained at all. Tough to impossible slog for kids or anyone with any disability/hurt leg, etc.
A missed opportunity for something special.

Follow the path to the western beach immediately from the very small parking lot. It is still not an easy hike for anyone with a slight injury or has a challenge walking. Do not take young children as it is not a easy walk for them. Lots of decaying wildlife on the beach and the biting...
Read moreTook the forest trail and it lead to a beach far from the end point of the park. It was poorly marked on where the continuation of the trail is. There is no place to hide from the heat of the day and the walk on sand and pebbles is not easy. Overall it is a great place to see nature. We had a chance to see a snake, lots of seagulls, geese...

Best to do in the morning before the sun is too hot as there isn’t much shade when you...
