Keint-He Winery & Vineyards — Attraction in Ontario

Laura was an awesome host. Place was packed and wines were good. I wish the formula would lead to more tastings though( it was really good wine) we had three choices out of 7. I would of have them all.

The only critic I would make is for more story telling about the wine. Explanations were quick and we understand the place was packed, still would have taken some more.

I have to give big thumbs up to wine served in Riedel glasses to optimise drinking experience. Experience was great and the view was absolutely gorgeous.

This place has potentiel to bring even better experience. I hope to come back in a few years and to see something even better.

I don't know what happened during our visit today, but we all left with quizzical looks and laughed in disbelief. Yes, it was busy, but I have never seen such disinterested, stand off-ish staff. We asked someone where to go for a tasting and she said "Here," then just stared at us. She did not smile, ask how we were, nor explain the wines at all. No recommendations, no selling, nothing. It was like pulling teeth. We all had tastings and had to ask the most basic of questions to get any kind of engagement out of her. My friend and I did not experience a great time at the Keint-He Winery on Saturday afternoon. The staff seemed rushed and stressed. Nothing was mentioned about the wines we chose. I had not quite finished my wine tasting when the glass was wisked away and when I mentioned that I was not finished the server didn't apologize. Another staff member took away another glass of mine when it barely hit the counter. They did say they had a very busy day, but still. And it wasn't even closing time.
