I thought it was horrible,we took our grade 3 class and the 4 "students" that were suppose to be running it,didn't make a very good impression on me, as they seemed like they weren't interested in talking to the kids or making them feel enthused to be there to learn about the antique wood tools and trying to get them interested really in helping them build there houses with wood glue that takes hours to dry and the kids were getting frustrated as the pieces to there homes kept falling off,maybe if some hammer and nails were involved or even a hot glue gun would have been better or better yet laying the project flat would have even helped the situation better. Wasn't enthused at all by this visit and would never recommend or be interested in a revisit with the school class or personally. Read moreFANTASTIC experience - one of the highlights of our day trip to the Kingston area. Our five girls, ages 9-15, created treasures with the help of Tristan, a delightful young man and self-taught wood worker. We spent about 1.5 hours in the woodshop, and enoyed every moment. The museum was fascinating for the adults, as well. Unfortunately, due to the extreme heat wave we're currently experiencing in the north-east, the chain saw artist-in-residence had for the day about 1pm, so we missed this part of the experience - but were able to view some of his completed art and works-in-progress.
