⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An incredible experience start to finish! We attended the Haunted High Tea and accidentally drove 40 minutes to the wrong location, which made us arrive about 30 minutes late. We weren’t sure if they’d still let us join, but the staff welcomed us with open arms and made us feel completely at ease. Although we missed the mansion tour, we were able to join the cemetery walk and the high tea portion—both of which were fantastic! Every staff member we met was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do. After tea, Brittany and Landen went above and beyond by offering to stay late and give us a private mansion tour since we’d missed the original one. They absolutely didn’t have to, but their kindness and enthusiasm made the experience unforgettable. We learned so much history and truly appreciated their time and effort. We’ll definitely be back again—highly recommend this event to anyone looking for something unique, spooky, and full of charm!

Beautiful grounds, from entrance to the mansion. Unfortunately we arrived too late to take the last guided tour of the day. The host took some time to discuss the exceptional history of the family behind the place and the current uses of the grounds, including the participation in bird banding and monitoring migratory birds. The grounds are beautiful and made the visit worth it in their own. Looking forward to going back and taking the tour, seeing the bird operations, and more. Oh yes - we saw a family of turkeys going for a walk. Gutsy move on Thanksgiving weekend. :-)

The staff here was incredible!!! We were traveling along the highway and seen the sign for historic place.... Well the history we learned from them makes us want to return for sure. We are from Michigan and I was researching my family history. We pulled in and when the staff seen us they were more than welcoming. Joel Weaver was amazing and I wish I could remember the females name also, she was a wealth of information. Do yourself a favor and stop by for a history lesson!!! Loved it and thank you so much for taking the time to chat with us!!! We will return

Had the Privilege of Working alongside the staff and Volunteers for their recent event (Ruthven In Wonderland).

A few things to mention, the staff and volunteers are the most honest and open people you will possibly come around. They care so much about the quality of the event for everyone and making sure you were welcomed.

Also, the Historic site. This place is massive and an absolutely breathtaking place. The large Historical site is so well taken care of, the pathway was never obstructed and there was beyond ample of parking on site. You can see the love and care they have put into making this place retain its historic feel.

The Site Administrator and President are just a few of the people that I was speaking with, and they showed an amazing level of respect, care and knowledge.

I highly recommend visiting this place and supporting this amazing historic site. This place is beautiful and absolutely...

Folks who were running this place 17-Mar-2024 totally ruined it for us. Website states that the place is open starting 12, so we arrived at 12 sharp planning to visit the mansion. The mansion was closed, so we went to the building by a parking lot and were told by the person in side that the museum opens at 12:30. 30 min later, we come back to the museum/mansion and getting told by the same guy who was in the building by the parking lot that we cannot visit... because we need tour tickets. And tour tickets are not being sold in the museum, but in that other building by the parking lot. And no, we cannot pay on the spot. And no, we cannot pay after the tour. Any no, we cannot give give him a cash deposit to make sure we pay after the tour and not run away without paying. The only option for us is to wait for an hour and join another tour at 1:30. And no, this is not because the tour is full (they...
