This small secluded park is just a twenty minute drive from Chatham and is a great spot to take take the family for a short nature hike. Take the groomed trail from the parking lot to the viewing platform and back for a 30 minute hike, or continue along the trail to the park boundary and walk back to the parking area along lightly traveled roads ( about 5k total). The trail is flat and suitable for strollers. The marsh contains a number of interconnected ponds that are used as a resting area by migrating swans, geese and ducks.
