My visit to County Cider Company was bittersweet indeed, and not just because of the cider. I have been wanting to go to CCC, since back when they were 'Waupoos Cider House.' When I arrived, I was told that no tables were available and I could sit in the sun if I wanted to. I accepted this. I was then given instructions for where to order, etc. I asked the lady if they have flights available. She said they don't and I'd have to order a pint. I ordered the pint then was told afterwards that if I wanted to try more, there was a tasting available - with the next one being in 10 minutes. I asked for a refund as I travelled here to try their cider lineup, not just to drink a single cider. I was told by the staff member that I'd be able to get a refund but I should check first to see if there are any spots available for the tasting. I went over, paid for the tasting and went back to get my refund. I was told by the manager that she could not refund me, and explained it was because of Covid. I was disappointed by the lack of integrity, but I headed over to the tasting tent. A few minutes later the manager came out and gave me a cash refund for my tasting. I appreciated this gesture. I immensely enjoyed the tasting. The product at CCC is top notch, and the lady doing the tasting was incredible. After the tasting, my partner and I took a walk through the beautiful grounds of the winery. As we were walking, I realized that the manager had given me more money than I had paid for the tasting. So, I went back to the patio area, and put the extra money in the tip jar. Shortly after I was accosted by the manager who seemed very grumpy. She asked if we had checked in with the hostess. I replied that we are just leaving a tip as a thank you for the amazing tasting and experience. She gruffly dissmissed me and walked away. I told her to have a great day and exited the patio.
I would have given CCC, 5 stars if it wasn't for the attitude of the manager. The grounds are beautiful, and the cider is top notch. Thank you CCC for a...
Read moreWe had a Reservation for 3 people yesterday, August 26, 2020. The young hostess proceeded to try to talk us into a picnic table for 2. We respectfully declined trying to fit 3 adults at the table for two. We then stayed where we were currently standing while discussing our table options; the outside line to order our food. After 5 minutes the hostess comes back and we were told to sit down at our table cause it was too busy. As we all sat down at our table other people started lining up in our spot to order their food. The hostess did come back to clarify that one of us from our small group of 3 could stand in the line up, which she did apologize for not mentioning to us and allowing other people to get in the line up after we given up our spot in line per her direction. (Btw - our group were all wearing our masks while still social distancing from others and outside) which is well going above and beyond mandatory restrictions for other people’s paranoia. The only menu that was provided to us was the sandwich board that was hidden behind the other people in the line up. Also a poor spot for a table of 6 people was located in front of the ordering line. Regardless, I stood in the ordering line for my group of 3 so we would get our meals at the same time, while the others looked up the menu on their phones to decide what they wanted. Our table did have our meals delivered in a reasonable amount of time; however, when we cleaned up after ourselves and tried to recycle our takeout dishes; the recycling was over flowing and swarming with wasps. That being said, our pizza’s and salad were tasty; however, The County Cider Company was poorly organized, the young staff under trained and not recommended for the overly paranoid Covid-19 people or...

Unfortunetly the service was unorganized and rude especially from such a highly recommended place.
We were planning on having dinner after the cider tasting.
Do to Covid restrictions only a few groups could be served at a time, and they were full, we were asked to return in 15 minutes, however, I heard the staff tell others the same thing. Should they not have registered our name at this time to make sure we were served next? This was not the case.
We decided to reserve a table for dinner to make sure we would have a place to eat after the cider tasting.
This unfortunetly was not possible, we were advised that the last dinner service was at 545pm as first come first served and was reminded that staff had been on since 9am. Should that have been our problem or should management have planned better.
Worried we would not be able to complete the cider tasting because they had 3 groups ahead of us and was advised to come back in 15 minutes and not being able to reserve a table for dinner we left disappointed.
Had the staff been able to plan or assist us with meeting time lines our disapointment would have...
