Turkey Point Provincial Park is located in Turkey Point, Ontario, and is part of the Ontario Parks system. A very nice park for camping with friends and family. Well maintained park and have electricity supply at the campsites, and cars can be parked in the campsite. There are bathrooms and toilets close to the campsites and good, but depends on how people use them. This place very close to Turkey Point beach on the shore of lake Erie. It is a very clean sand beach with clear water, good for a walk or play in the sand or swimming at own risk. There are few restaurants along side of the road, and can a beer with the beautiful view of the beach. Not too crowded, at least when I was here and was very pleasant in the evening while the sun set. Had a very good time and experience at this beach and at the provincial park overnight camp. Prepared our own barbeque with bonfire and lot of talking with friends. Patrolling is done by the park management to ensure safety of the campers and to avoid any issues.

We camped for one night at the Whipperpool campsite. It was a pleasant experience. The check in was smooth, the site was nice, and the staff are super helpful and knowledgeable. The comfort station at this campground is worth 10 stars. Amazingly clean, hot and cold showers and clean washrooms. We couldn't find potable water source anywhere. The directions inside the park are confusion at there are no signs at intersections and along the park near the day use area. The day use area is not big but is decent. However, people using them need to grow up and clean up after and not throw their food near the tables. Each day use site has a water tap so make sure you find one. The beach is not inside the park and there is no access to it either from the inside. You need drive south for 5 mins to reach it. Campers do not need permit for parking. There is no sunset but there is an equally beautiful sunrise. It's amazing to watch the sun come out. The campsite and park are definitely a must visit.

Turkey Point Provincial Park Review - One Star My family and I recently visited Turkey Point Provincial Park, and unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. Despite the beach being sandy and seemingly inviting, the overall condition of the park's amenities left much to be desired. The primary issue, especially for families, is the state of the washrooms and amenities. They are poorly maintained, consistently unclean, and completely unsanitary. It's incredibly concerning that a public park frequented by so many families could be allowed to fall into such a deplorable state. The lack of basic hygiene in these facilities poses a serious health risk and made our visit highly uncomfortable. We expected better from a provincial park, but sadly, Turkey Point failed to meet even the most basic standards of cleanliness and maintenance. We won't be returning and strongly advise other families to steer clear until significant improvements are made.

Not a provincial park we will likely camp at again. Zero privacy around our site….campers directly across and beside us. Felt like they were on top of us. There was cell service which was better than some parks. A previous pet owner did not clean up after their dog…,stepped in it unknowingly at first. Disgusting. The worst washrooms ever…very outdated, dirty….staff were seen cleaning it but still looked and felt dirty. Overall park staff were helpful and friendly. We prefer to be able to walk to the beach from campground but you had to drive down the hill(not very far away though). Beach was nice…washrooms off very expensive paid one day parking was $18. Washrooms again very dirty and fowl smelling. The Sandbar patio was amazing just down the street from the paid parking. The food and atmosphere was great. Wait staff great. Busy place. The convenience/market/LCBO store was not far from beach area and had everything you need. Staff was nice. Camping is much better in early June and September as now a lot of families. There are so many vacant sites always at the PP parks which don’t show on the website booking process. Why not spread campers out? Would be a...

Our family had a lovely time camping at Turkey Point. Our site (110) was huge and had great privacy. Our friends were at 112 and privacy was average.

The lookout trail is easy but not really a lookout, don't know if the trees cover the view during the summer. There are a bunch of cycling trails, so a lot of campers brought bikes.

The staff was friendly. The stay was quiet, I heard no music nor chatting. Lots of families and pets. Since there are many electrical sites, there are many trailers and RVs.

The beach is pretty, large sand area with some restaurants across the street. They recommend you drive to it as there are no trails and you would need to walk by the road. There is parking and it's free when you are camping (bring your car permit). Large beach dog area! Water was still cold in mid June, so no swimming.

The only downside were the comfort stations. The one at Whippoorwill campground is old and was always smelly. The shower area smells even worse than the toilet area. There must be some problem with the piping.

All in all it was a great stay and I...

The staff were the only redeeming quality of this park, and the scenery of course. This is a small campground with very few (I consider no) amenities. 2 playgrounds and a volleyball field. If those are your thing, good. Small families will enjoy the slow paced camp life. There is NO beach access, I mistakenly booked with the idea that it had a beach to walk to. No, you'll have to walk ride or drive down Turkey Point rd (a highway, essentially) to get to the small town of Turkey Point. No coffee shop, or cafe. Nothing open before 10 or 11 am. I was surprised! I envisioned this beach town, no... Mainly cottage rentals and public parking beach. The campsite I booked was not the campsite pictured on the site, so we were out of luck for hanging tarps to protect against the storm that came through for two and a half days. The site was surrounded by thorned bushes, and only trees in the bushes on one side, so very little opportunity to extend a rope for a tarp as well. We ended up packing it in, sadly. I'm not one for trampling on bushes to hang tarps, so maybe that's...
