Been coming here since the 70s. My mom's family is from Waterford, (Williams). Hold our family reunion here every year except covid-19 period. My grandmother was yhe host all the years I remember. Sadly she left us. After several years I took it upon myself to start it again. With some amazing relatives we got er up and running. Thank you guys. Now one thing that grrrrs me is the bees around the pavilion. But that should be coming to an end soon since the park plans to renovate the area. Next year we're planning to maybe get two campers side by side and hold the reunion that way. The park staff are amazing people with amazing patience and excellent people skulls. Keep up the good...

Its an amazing park. Lots of amenities to choose from, swimming, beach volleyball, boating and fishing. Anything from tenting it to all out glamping. Seasonal and overnighters all here in one park. Very friendly, family like atmosphere. There's showers and bathroom facilities on site as well. The staff that run are absolutely amazing and great. Its a wonderful park, whether its just a night or a whole season of camping. Bring your family and friends. And you are a 2min drive from town, which has all the amenities you need while you are enjoying your time...

We camped for 4 nights . The rail trail nearby was great . The park is probably more suited to day visits than camping.. Couple of washrooms.. Limited staff.. If you want to use the electric site be sure to bring an adapter plug. .from RV to Household plugs.. Although we did learn after that you could get a plug from the office..if someone was there.. The young people running the place always seemed hard at work but we kind of wondered what would happen if there was some sort of emergency...

The conservation area is next door but this review is about the Waterford heritage trail, ponds and shadow lake trails .I have been going to Waterford for over 50 years and it has never been so bike and hike friendly with so much of the area being made accessible. The conservation area is accessed off Mechanic Street and has camping sites and requires a permit but you can hike all around the area for free .My compliments to Waterford conservation authority 👍👍

Beautiful waterfront campsites. We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed our time there. There is very little shade at the camp sites and some have zero shade. An effort to plant more trees in the camping area would be appreciated. Also if you're staying during the week, the staff leave at 8pm instead of 10pm so there is no chance to get firewood or ice after 8pm on week days. We did not know this and were left with a small amount of wood on our last night!
