The playground and beach are great, my kids loved it! Camping wise, I wouldn't. The person on the phone seems very nice. When we went to go and check out the campsites, we discovered that the campground in general seemed to be lacking. We feared taking our trailer through the paths as the tress were overgrown. Many of the sites themselves looked as if they'd been neglected, with the exception of the grass being cut. This is definitely a campground that looks as though it'd be ideal, however, it's in dire need of some TLC. There is no one on site, so there is no supervision, and you are definitely on your own. Read moreI would not recommend this campground for a number of reasons.
One would be the fact that it is indicated to be full service but we couldn't find the sewer location and the water connection was buried in the brush. We never did find the sewer location. The sites were not well kept and there was no security.
The main reason for this review is the fact that the roads to this site from the trans-canada who are horrendous. The campground indicated that there is continuous battle with Yorkton to fix the roads and when I call the city of Yorkton I was told the public works would call me back, they never did.
Avoid this campground like the...
Read moreThis is not a campground for large RV’s! a good portion of the gravel road leading into the area is not maintained and horrible washboards. The worst we have ever seen. We needed to disconnect our tow vehicle in the middle of the road to continue at a snails pace. This should have been disclosed to us prior to booking. The sites are not level and too tight advertised as pull thru. The water connection was in the trees away from our unit. We were told full service sites but could not locate the sewer connection. The sites are not worth what was charged along with the $8 park fee. Absolutely...
