Went for a family walk on the trails yesterday. This is a really great place, the view at the top of the hill is amazing and the trails through the woods are really great. The one negative thing I would say is that there is a lot of dog poo all over the place its a real shame and hard to avoid. Its hard to look up and see the beautiful scenery as your to busy looking down to make sure you avoid stepping in dog poo. Please people if your going to walk dogs on the trails or around the area leading up to the hill pick up after your dog so everyone else doesn't step in what your dog...

Great mountain bike hill. Something for everyone. Easy trails available for kids (Porcupine Pie for really young kids, Breakwall and the back side of the mountain for older kids). Overall the trails are very technical, not just a ride in the park.

Good for hiking too for the whole family.

Watch out for the back side of the hill because it is wet for the beginning of the season until June or so (this year with the downpour it is more likely to be well into July before it is dry...

Walk or bike through various Canadian terrain; from the windswept fields and rocky paths to the shade of tall, majestic trees, Harold Town has it all! There are a variety of trails to suit your walking or biking preferences, ranging from easy to difficult. All the trails have a whimsical name! Look for the little gnome friends hidden in the trees! Ample parking in the lot as well as on the road. A great...

First time hiking in Peterborough. You have your choice from hard climb trails to easy rollers. It was raining but trail was maintained well enough that I never felt in trouble. Lots of room to park and a porta potty right next to the parking lot. Will come back.
