Baxter Beach — Attraction in Ottawa

I went to the beach with my family on Sunday June 30 th we used to like that area. I have to say it’s disappointing that it’s not maintained . There was so much poop on the beach either from geese or other we had to wear our water shoes. it’s such a nice place for little kids as the water is a slow grade perfect the littles. if you are going to charge people to park that fine but please maintain the beach it’s really disgusting for small kids and families to try and avoid all the poop to get...

This was my first time there and already got an annual pass. I'm sure it's busy during summer but the trails and the beach are very clean with plenty of picnic areas & change rooms/washrooms. RVCA does a great job there. maybe head out early during july/august to have parking. parking 8$/day, my only issue was getting enough cell reception to scan that QR code lol took about 30mins to pay...

Day use is around 8 dollars paid in a parking machine. Many parking spots. The sand area is small and it was almost full. Plenty of spaces in the grass.
