Small lighthouse on private land with stunning views. I enjoyed the view from this lighthouse more than I did along the west side of Prince Edward Island national Park such as Cavendish cliffs, Ocean view, overlook, and so on. This is one of my favorites so far.

The final road leading to this lighthouse is rough and rotted so use caution and if you have a very low profile vehicle, I would not recommend this road. There is also signage to remind you that the cliffs are very unstable in this area so...

There are many reasons why you absolutely want to visit this lighthouse. First, just getting there seems like an adventure. You start with the dirt road between fields you have to follow and at some point you'll ask yourself if your at the right place. You are, keep going. Then, you'll reach your destination and you'll have a spectacular view of the surrounding majestic red cliffs and depending on the time of year, you may witness the cormorants community at their...

Immaculately beautiful location.

There is a mud road for 1 KM. Although you can drive and make a u-turn at the end of the road, the road itself is super narrow and can only fit one car. It is also very off road type road, not paved, so be careful when you visit with non-off-road vehicle on a rainy or wet day, your car can be stuck badly. Better to leave it in main road and walk the 1KM.
