Beautiful little lighthouse, now privately owned but originally sat at Cape Tryon and provided inspiration for none other than Lucy Maud Montgomery herself. Lighthouse is on private property and beautifully maintained. There is no parking as it is a residential area, so care must be taken to respect the locals who call this area their home. I was able to take a few shots of the lighthouse without trespassing or disturbing anyone as it is clearly visible from the dead-end road. If you make a stop at Cape Tryon, or are on a lighthouse hunt, might as well include a stop here on...

Such a beautiful spot. This is a sandy beach making for an easier walk. Breath taking view with lots of shells. New London Lighthouse is amazing and full of history built in 1876 and links to the famous ship Marco Polo making it all more interesting just to see. Only issue for first time visitors can be confused as there is many private driveways going in so I added a map to help you out in the pictures. But just take Cape Rd to the very end for parking....

This simple lighthouse is just a couple of hundred meters from a beach. Free Parking at the beach, though not a lot of parking space, I went on a motorcycle so it was easy for me to park, but a cars may have to fight it out for available parking. A bit of dirt road (just a few hundred meters) to...

Now this lighthouse is a special find in my book. Not only is it beautifully maintained but it's also located next to a beautiful beach. As you can see by the photos, it's also perfectly located to offer an exquisite surrounding for your shots. It's not that far from Cape Tryon and it's well worth the stop.

Parking is limited but we went at a time of the year where there weren't too many people so were able to find parking easily. The area also has beach which was very clean and quiet, we had a picnic while watching the ocean waves and fishing boats pass by.
