Beautiful little lighthouse, now privately owned but originally sat at Cape Tryon and provided inspiration for none other than Lucy Maud Montgomery herself. Lighthouse is on private property and beautifully maintained. There is no parking as it is a residential area, so care must be taken to respect the locals who call this area their home. I was able to take a few shots of the lighthouse without trespassing or disturbing anyone as it is clearly visible from the dead-end road. Read moreSuch a beautiful spot. This is a sandy beach making for an easier walk. Breath taking view with lots of shells. New London Lighthouse is amazing and full of history built in 1876 and links to the famous ship Marco Polo making it all more interesting just to see. Only issue for first time visitors can be confused as there is many private driveways going in so I added a map to help you out in the pictures. But just take Cape Rd to the very end for parking....
