A nice place to visit while out exploring the area. A few picnic tables around (3). A large cut area would accommodate larger groups provided they had their own tables and chairs. Property is well kept with garbage/recycling bins available at the parking area and at the first viewing spot. Visited on Fri, Feb 28 to be greeted by an empty parking lot. Because of the recent snowfalls, it was scenic and serene. At this time of year, the moving water rushes between the snow capped banks. It doesn't roar like it does in the summer, sound dampened by the snow, and isn't as well attended, which makes the park all the more peaceful place to bring my dog for a walk.
