Fantastic little village of handmade bottle houses. There is a real charm in this little glass village. No admission fee... just a donation box that the money he collects goes to a charity that helps sick children. The creator Gar Gillis told me to date he has raised $27,000 for the sick children and hopes to make it to $50,000 before he leaves this earth. He started with one house for a grandson, then a granddaughter wanted one.... then another granddaughter wanted one. And the village started growing from there. His most recent addition is a lighthouse. Be sure to visit the restaurant at the end of his road right before the lighthouse and have a few drinks, they donate their used bottles to him...

It's incredible how much money this family raised with this small attraction. Judging by the numerous big cheques displayed in the village, it's in the range of hundreds of thousands, if not in the millions. I would definitely recommend making a quick stop and making a small donation...
