A pretty little beach, with a brackish pond separated from the harbour by the beach. Stony land at the top with sand by the water, however the pitch of the beach is quite steep. I'm unsure if I'd dare enter the water here beyond wading my feet as I couldn't tell if the steep pitch continued and might make it difficult to exit; no locals there to ask. Quite pretty with wildflowers and beach grasses. Beautiful grassy expanse for little ones to run off some energy. Two ducks were quite at home lunching in the pond waters. A public bathroom was appreciated (on a run!), by two fellow travellers who arrived as I...

Beautiful- beware dogs often off leash!

Amazing spot that has beach access, rocky access, and a wee trail through a bit of marsh and forest. Plently of parking where trashcan can be found as well as a picnic table. Many mid-sized rocks make accessing trail only suitable for able-bodied folk who can manage (younger children, folk with balance or knee issues would most likely find it difficult).

Do note that while it is not an offleash site, often dogs are let loose, and I have had a scary encounter with a growling retriever at the forest/mash area. Dog owners, please leash your dogs for their safey and that...

Nice family beach with walking trail, picnic table and most of the time you'll have the beach to yourself. If there is ever a storm this beach seems to have the most seaweed wash up on the beach and in the water. There's a lake on the other side of the beach, with ducks(if you feed them please don't use bread its not good for them, and will rot in the water if uneaten, please use fruits or veggies). Due to all of the creatures that live in the lake I wouldn't suggest swimming in it, however, most of us just rinse off out feet...

Such a little unique recreational spot. The beach was lovely, with soft white sand. Obviously the ocean water was chilly, but amazing as always, for anyone who enjoys it. But the best part in my opinion was the tiny lake just 3 meters from the oceans edge, where you can cross over and jump into, to warm up. I brought my paddle board. Once I had my fun paddling in the waves of the ocean, I carried my board 30 feet over to the entrance of the lake and went for a nice relaxing float. This spot is the best of both water worlds
