One of our favourite stops on the way to the Trellis Cafe for lunch out. We call it the "why not" beach - why not stop a minute. A lovely white sand little beach, right at the side of the road. Gentle energy. Soft sand. Lovely to sit a minute, rain or shine.

The seawall is quite a bit quieter in the morning than Queensland beach proper. Strong currents make for a lot of large stones washed up against the wall, very tricky to walk on and get closer to the sand

Nice beach but small when tide is in. Water can be rough. Summers it's is packed but on a cooler day you might find yourself alone. Doggo likes it very much.

Seaweed and rocks come and go. Gentle surf, more protected than other nearby beaches. Parking is hazardous, barely enough room to get off the road and more than a couple of cars parked cause a nasty blind corner where cars come flying by... But much quieter than...

This beach is great for small kids. We hot there early 10am the water was a bit chilly but as the sun got hotter the water got better. The beach is small but my kids and grand kids has a great time..I gave it a 4 star only because it doesn't have any...
