This is a great place for beginners. They have many easy mountain roads to explore. Everytime I go there with my friends and family, we always have a grest time. The line to get on top of the mountain is very minimal compared to other well known mountains for skiing and snowboarding.
Their cafeteria is not the best. I would definitely recommend bringing your own cold food.

We recently visited Ski Montcalm for the first time, and it was an amazing experience! Living only an hour away, it was the perfect spot for a quick family getaway. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making our visit even more enjoyable.
The resort is ideal for families, especially with a mix of skill levels. Our 6-year-old, who is a beginner, had a fantastic time on the gentle slopes, while our 12-year-old, who is an intermediate skier, enjoyed the more challenging runs. My wife, also a beginner, found the slopes perfect for learning and building confidence.

The mountain is 300 some meters and offers groomed trails of varying difficulty down 3 sides of the mountain. Chair lifts were quite fast, 4-5 mins between arrival at top from the line at the bottom of the chair lift. Trails were very well groomed and offer many sous-bois and little jumps on the sides.
Some hills are more popular than others for newbies. Which is good, for them, but for the intermediate or higher skier a little bit annoying. But we all have to share the mountain.
