Very muddy. Looks like park is not maintained. But most importantly, I would never come back because we had a very bad experience with Richmond Hill city employee here. We were having a dog meet-up here on a Saturday afternoon celebrating dogs’ birthdays and the park was empty except us. When we were about to leave, out of the blue, a city employee walked into the park with smile in her face and asked us if all our dogs are licensed. She said we need to share all our information with her if the dog is not licensed. We told her we were about to leave but she threatened to fine us $300 (lol) or she will run our plates in the parking lot (lol). We wasted 15minutes entertaining her because she wouldn’t let us leave. I’ve been to many other dog parks in Toronto in the past 3 yrs and I’ve never experienced this. This was my first time trying a park in Richmond Hill park and I learned the lesson; this city would do anything to get more money from anyone. Who builds a public dog park and sends an employee to trap all dog owners for more $$? AVOID all parks in Richmond Hill at all cost if your purpose of visit is to enjoy your time with your dog.

Please take note that this park lacks proper sinks for handwashing after using the washroom. Therefore, if you plan to send your kids to a summer camp here, be aware that they won't have access to traditional handwashing facilities. Instead, the camp relies on hand sanitizers and one jug of water as an alternative. While the camp itself was enjoyable, I find it perplexing that York Public Health permits the City of RH to operate day camps from this location under such circumstances!

Doge Park is a perfect haven for dogs and their owners. The spacious grounds provide ample room for furry friends to frolic and play. The welcoming atmosphere is complemented by the presence of numerous friendly dog enthusiasts, creating a delightful community vibe. It's a place where wagging tails and smiling faces abound – truly a haven for both dogs and their human companions.

There are some dogs that should not be off leash here , they are vicious and attack other dogs . I've see it happen three times in the last few months and to my own dog as well :( The owners need to use their brain and not take their dogs to an off leash park when they know their dogs are temperamental. It's not fair to the other dogs that are normal and well behaved. If you enter this park , you never know what you're gonna get . Nearly all dog parks include a rule expressly forbidding aggressive dogs from using the facilities. The problem is that not all owners understand what constitutes an aggressive dog, or they downplay...

Great dog park, lots of space for playing and running around. There is also a smaller section divided by a fence from the main dog play area.

The signs were a bit misleading to enter the dog park from the parking lot. We ended up going into a forest for a little bit but turned around and found the right path. They really need to put up a map on the information board in the parking lot (will help out first time goers a lot).

Also, there aren't many lights in the dog park so it gets very dark after dusk. If you are staying around late make sure your phone is charged and bring some...
