This was my first experience, and it was enjoyable for me and my children. We truly enjoyed it. However, the negative point was the price, which was quite high — $266 for 5 people (2 adults and 3 children under 12). I hope you will reconsider the pricing or offer a family package for groups of 5 or more.
Another negative point was my bad experience with one of the employees. I am new here and am learning the language gradually. I have no previous experience or knowledge about this activity and how to handle the ropes. My young child was in front of me, and I was focused on attaching my hook to the rope so I could secure and protect him as he walked on it. Sometimes I would attach my hook, and sometimes I would forget — not because I ignored the instructions, but because I was worried about my son’s safety.
The employee gave me a first warning, and then when she noticed again that I forgot to attach my hook because my son was about to fall and didn’t know how to handle the situation, she gave me a second warning and threatened to take away the yellow wristband I was wearing. I asked her why she was focusing on us in particular. She was aggressive in her behavior and looks, and her way of speaking was impolite, with a tone of arrogance. When I asked for the manager to file a complaint, I was shocked to learn that she was the owner’s daughter. So how could my complaint even reach the right person, or how could he be convinced of what his daughter did?
This way of dealing with customers is not nice at all. Employees should be trained on how to interact with customers, to understand their backgrounds, and to take into account that some may not be fluent in the language. Most importantly, they should greet customers with a smile and avoid discriminatory behavior.
For me, I will not recommend this place to my colleagues at work because I fear they might face the same disappointment of dealing with such an employee who uses threats.
I hope my message reaches the direct...
Read moreFirst of all, we had 9 people in our group. Their website says "smaller group sizes in all activity areas to allow for social distancing". There was no separation whatsoever between individuals. Second of all, there were no sanitary measures in place. The website says "Hand sanitizing stations throughout our parks". Luckily, we brought our own sanitizer. Third of all, there was supposed to be a guide with us at all times. In fact, he was gone after about 20 minutes (or he decided to stay behind). Anyway, he was supposed to assist each individual but the only thing he said during the experience was "You wanted extreme, you have to go through everything!". Fine, no complain about that, but his job was to make sure everybody is OK. We did Via Ferrata twice and the guide stayed with us at all times, from the very beginning to the moment we got back to our cars. We also booked the rafting experience as part of the package, but no information was given during or after the booking process (how to get to the rafting company's location, for what time the reservation is confirmed, what options are included etc.) When we arrived, the rafting company's (Nouveau Monde) representative told us we're not on the list. She made a call and straightened everything out. Apparently, Arbraska failed to notify them that two more people purchased their services. So, I'm totally unhappy with today's experience and, although I made plans to visit Arbraska Rawdon this summer,...
Read moreHad a great time there for the first time. Super nice and efficient staff. My nephew who is on the spectrum is afraid of heights but we tried. The first run he couldn't do it after climbing the ladder he got scared and we climbed down... no biggie. Told him that I didn't want him to do something he didn't feel comfortable with. As he is watching me, his little sister and cousin go through the path, he decided he wanted to try again on another one that looked safer for him. He managed to climb, go through one obstacle, do a zip line and cross on a flat wooden beam. The issue was the next one... he couldn't do it. It was an unstable beam and he got scared. We were stuck on a platform and didn't know how to get down. A member of the staff came in and we safely unhook him and he grabbed him down safely to the ground. It took a while to convince him to sit on that beam and trust us to bring him down but the employee was so patient with him made him feel secure and he made it. Even the people waiting in line behind us was cheering him on. You can not control your fear but I am happy that he could at least try a zip line which for some reason he loved to do. As for the rest of us we went for it even me and my older niece on the intermediate course and trust me at 25-30 feet in the air it is not for the faint of heart. Lol but we will be back for...
