Excellent little family owned mountain with tons of trails and activities for all ages. The trails are in excellent condition and it seems as though more and more work is going into them every season. The hiking is great; and the forest is lovely - great hiking for all levels. Fun place to bring a bike for just about anyone; whether you’re looking for an easy ride or something more advanced –there are in fact some rather technical trails. They also provide Bike Rentals which unfortunately has not been great in the past – the bikes were very badly maintained and frequently had damage – it seems as though things are looking very positive in that regard for the coming summer. For those with outdoor climbing experience, they also have an outdoor rock face (natural obviously) for some great sport climbing. There are a huge number of sport climbing pitches which are bolted (generally at about 4’ intervals - so you have a lot of room to play). The pitches range in difficulty from beginner, 5.3-5.7, all the way to a few pitches which might rank around a 5.12a; one of which is a transverse – the other is a crack the requires some serious jamming. It’s a small wall with lots of potential – unfortunately, no pictures of the wall nor its locations have been posted to deter the inexperienced from harm. Great place to spend a fantastic day with the family.

A friendly, neighbourhood ski-station if ever there was one. The slopes are well maintained, the lodge has a reasonable cafeteria and the boutique, while small, has a good selection for kids and often great prices (surprisingly). There are multiple programs for kids to learn snowboarding and skiing with friendly, chill instructors. In the summer there are mountain bike courses for the same starting as early as 5-6 years old (including transition from training wheels!). Eric, the director of the site during summer is an amazing leader who ensures the security of the locale and a high quality of all the instructors. If ever there was a place to teach your kids how to persevere and ‘get back on your feet’ the summer Sprockkids mountain bike courses are it. Amazing team. All in all, recommended especially for families.

Ski Hill - ~500m run. Great for beginners. A bit short for intermediates. 1 slow fixed grip chair. Ambiance - Lights are cozy . Bunny hill carpet is in a led tunnel. Trees have xmas lights too. Conditions - due to location, snow accumulation is low, ice forms easily at night. Park - Well built, but very unsafe due to many kids in blindspots. Mountain Safety - precarious. Mtn Ops Staff - Entitled with attitude "it's a baby hill, so we can't control [unsafe behaviours] -one of the team leaders. Apparently walking down the hill on foot in a safe manner is prohibited and can result loss of pass (despite genuinely being tired or injured). Indoor Staff - Friendly and courteous. Overall - 4/10

Nice place for a quick hike or to see the fall foliage. We were a tad underwhelmed when we came today, although we knew that we did miss the official festival last weekend. They had a BBQ grill and a donut truck at the base today, which was a nice option for a sback. It seemed like it's $7/adult to simply ride the short chairlift up to the summit (max. 7 minutes) and then you have to walk down. We opted to do the 15-20 minute walk up the mountain, right below the chairlift, and were glad we did!! The views look out onto the valley below, which was nice, but we saw more of the fall foliage on the drive up the mountain than at the summit!

This is a great mountain for learning how to ski or snowboard and is also fun for intermediate skiers and snowboarders. Don't expect to go extremely fast because the slopes aren't that steep. There are some black diamonds but no double black diamonds and most courses are pretty easy. Might be a little short but is a lot of fun. Re riding some of the trails doesn't get boring because there is a lot of challenging alternative routes to take. Would recommend to anyone who wants something for intermediate and begginer riders while still having a lot of fun.

Mont Rigaud offers some nice mountain biking trails that are especially suited for beginner to intermediate riders. There are also a few trails for the more advanced riders, but not a lot. There is an admission fee to pay off about $15 because the trails are on private property. One thing I did wish is that they'd have a snack bar open, but there are restaurants a few kilometers away in the town of Rigaud if you get hungry. For those in need of a bike, they do offer rentals on site. All in all, a nice place for a family biking day.
