Whether its the summer, or the winter the Wharf/Lighthouse has become a 4 season place to visit.
In the summer sitting beside the lighthouse gives you views of: rowers, kayaks, boats, and the occasional splash of a fish as it breaches and crashes back beneath the waves.
For those with children just behind the lighthouse is a play ground which is wheelchair accessible.
In the winter the ice freezes over creating a new playground to explore. Whether its simply walking on the ice, sporting a pair of cross country skies, a fishing pool, or revving the engine of your ATV/Snowmobile the wharf/lighthouse continues to not disappoint.

Could get very chilly in the evenings since it's on the water. Heard it will be more beautiful in winters, so waiting for the winters to come in.
Previously car were allowed on to the pier but now the city has barricaded the entry.
To access the pier one has to park the car and walk on to the pier.
Can spend a good quality time on the pier, they also have a playground for the kids to play around.
