WINTER: Fantastic trail and facilities suitable for novice skiers and families. Warming shelters are a great feature on the Elm and Basswood trails and are stocked with wood. If using the woodstove is important to you, I recommend bringing your own fire-starting material and hatchet/axe. I think the park stocks these items but axe's have grown legs.
