Read moreThe road to get to the campground was ridiculous when towing a trailer. It was all rippled and gravel for a while. You have to drive fast otherwise you and your trailer feel like you are in a blender. We had a site in Bay 5. The site was ok, good sized. But the whole area smelled like the washroom. The lake isn't really a lake, probably flooded farm land? Water smelled and was green. I wouldn't choose to swim in it. They made me pay for parking which is strange since I was camping there. They said the pass expires at midnight so I would have to get another one for the next day (we stayed only 1 night). I only paid for 1 night and took the chance. Found that strange. Wouldn't go back here. Nothing to see or do while on site (they have some trails). You are in the middle of farm land. Signage was sparse so was hard to know where you are. After camping in Ontario and being use to their parks, this one was a little...
Read morePark is really nice. Got some playgrounds, basketball court (one of the court ring is missing), lots of tables and chairs to have some break from the trails.
No bike rentals though but a good ice cream place before coming in to the main office. A guy who selss firewood right before it for only $10. They got some beaver wood too.
Just a heads up for the future campers. Their Electricity sockets are for RV. You need a RV Adapter to plug the regular 3 prong extrnsion cords. The main office have some but if it is the peak season it will be out of stock fast. We bought our adapter at Carman Home Hardware. 15 minutes from the park, cost $10+ tax.
They have a man made waterfall at the end of bay 5 & 6, if you are from bay 1-4 you might want to get in the vehicle to go there. There are no tables around the waterfall area. Select areas has phone signals but LTE or data is very...
