I biked here. The whole park is bike friendly and dog friendly. Dogs are off leash. When we went there were many white seeds covering the forest, looked like snow. The bugs are bad especially by the quarry at sundown. Lots of fire pits. Bathrooms are closed, a big con, so you’ll have to pee/poo in the forest so bring Tp. Only thing I don’t like is it’s hard to get there on bike. Google maps shows a shortcut through Brookside cemetery . When I went there the gates were closed so I had to go all the way back out of the cemetery and take the highway which is a very narrow two laner and has zero shoulder, deep ditches on each side, and massive semis rolling down it full speed. You must be careful if you take this way. I have a trailer so I had to be extra careful and take up extra room on the road. You could take the 190 highway depending on where you are but it will take much longer to get there, but there is a massive paved shoulder so that’s good but you will have to cross the bridge, though. I liked it and I...

Definitely my favorite dog park. The only reason I give 4 instead of 5 stars is because there are a number of small dogs whose owners think they are helpless little babies and get upset when they see big dogs running anywhere near their tiny dogs. Either there should be a separate area strictly for the little dogs or owners of little dogs should keep them at home. Getting mad at me and asking that my dog not run and play with his other big dog friends because you're worried your tiny little dog will get in the way and get hurt is ridiculous. Dog run. Dogs play. Dogs rough house. These are natural behaviors. If it makes you nervous, keep...

i went there today for the first time in years. i have 2 small dogs and they did great there with the big dogs and the big dogs did great with them. i only saw one incident and it was a fair ways away from us where 2 big dogs got in a small scuffle. if you are a small dog owner this is a pretty good place to go, lots of room so you can stay away from large groups of big dogs if you are concerned about your little dogs. just to be clear that i am not picking on big dogs. i used to come here with my big dogs many years ago but now have small dogs and have seen the difference with dog parks pertaining...

This park is good, especially for walking your dog. We met so many dogs during the hike it was great to see as a dog lover. For folks who may be scared or allergic to dogs, be careful going to this park when it's busy as most of the dogs are off leashes and may come running to you to say hello. We visited this park towards the end of March, and it was incredibly muddy. I recommend waiting till mid-April or wearing shoes or boots that can withstand the mud. There wasn't a lot to see. It was a lovely walk, and the air felt crisper. It's a bonus that it's so close to the city.

Beautiful park full of paths and well groomed trails. Off leash dog park has allot of open space for your canine to run and play. Parking is free and you can reach all the spaces from the parking lots. The park is also full of trees and grassland area with some paths covered in woodchips. Rest rooms are available and they identify wheelchair accessible. Fire pits are very few but available. Some benches and picnic tables are throughout the park as well. But you gotta watch out for the gopher holes there is allot of them!
