I'm 72 now + born in 1951. When my father came out of the war at Normandy + survived in 1947 my father discovered this more than beautiful lake with 4 great islands + mountains all around fresh spring water going into to crystal clear water in whole lake you can drink the water there . It is 99 ft. Deep at a certain place by my fishing sonar. bass + walleyes + 4 ft long pike caught mostly on diff. Spinnerbaits. It is the biggest lake I in around 15 miles. When I was in my 30s I built my own house there with my older brother right beside the lake. In 1947 there was only 10 houses around this lake . My father was 3rd. To buy a house there. Now today no empty lots .over 500 homes built up to now. In the 60s + 70s home we're $30 to $40 thousand then . Today homes bought out 4 lots = 400ft. Wide. + 3 to 4 time bigger + much higher. The cheapest small home goes for $700. Thousand + humongous homes are more than 2 million today. It's not a poor man's lake. You need to win a lottery to buy a home on this lake. I never seen or been on a better lake in my whole life . If your very rich then buy there cuz you will never find better. Trust me . No mercury or factories near this lake . Many lake rules to keep lake beautiful + extremely clean . No garbage in lake . Have security on this...
