Excellent place for a hike and enjoy the view with kids. I recommend taking both sentier de la boule and sentier swaggin, as they are very different and the landscape is totally different as well. Sentier de la boule is all flat, but with a lot of bush all along, at some spots it is not that easy to pass, especially for young kids. The rapides au bouleau is a grest spot to admire the river, have a break and just enjoy the serenity. It is also the best spot to have fun with kids, as they can jump from rock to rock and even tread water near the bank. Sentier swaggin is uphill, and the river is narrower, but the view at chute swaggin is absolutely the climb. There are a few picnic tables near the passerelle, where you can have a picnic peacefully (all shaded) and kids can even tread water underneath the passerelle. There is a shed right beside the passerelle as well, and there are a few tables inside. We had a great day with our 6 yo and 9 yo!

One of the best Hiking areas in the region, rivers and lakes all around in a safe outdoors environment. Trails are well maintained and marked all across the area.

15km run or walk each way depending on what you want. Well indicated, many spots to stop and eat on the side of the rapids & falls

Excellent experience at Camping Swaggin. I would recommend spots #6 and #7 that have a direct access to the Assomption River. Camping spots are very clean. From there you can hike along the National Sentier or just enjoy the Bouleau Rapids (1km away). The refuge looked great and super comfortable but we were not...
