Val Saint-Come — Attraction in Saint-Côme

Amazing facility with all the Covid precautions in place without making your ski outing complicated. We were able to find a free snowshoeing trail behind the Auberge Val Come and kids were enchanted with the diversity of ski hills. You can use a locker to put your food or buy local. Driving from Laval took 90 minutes with no traffic since there are optional country roads to avoid busy 125 on a Sunday afternoon especially if the sunset is in your eyes.

Highly recommended and price is right compared to Laurentian options who all were sold out. One cannot book weeks in advance with all the Covid restrictions changing and weather no longer guarantees snow. The crowd was just right and ample parking just next to ski hill. Payment was a swift: show your email receipt barcode and Bob’s your uncle...

This is the third time we come. For its position, it is a nice ski-in/ski-out hotel. Clean, nice warm swimming pool... and right on the West mountain face.|So, no complaints there.|It is quite away from the village, and after a full ski day you don't feel like driving... so we visited the restaurant.|And, for the second time, it sucks.|I got a burger. That was pretty decent.|But my wife tried the salmon...|The very first time the salmon was... maybe 3 inches long... ONE little piece.|After she complained, they came back with an extra piece. That one came UNCOOKED.|Finally, after returning it, it was ok.|Normally, in any other restaurant, that would probably be waived when the bill arrives... not here.|So... sleep...

The gentlemen at reception were amazing... welcoming, professional, and efficient. They provided detailed answers to our questions.||Yes, the room was dated, but clean and adequate for the few hours we spent in it. Although it boasted a King bed, we had a Queen. The view of the mountain was amazing, and being able to ski in/out was a nice treat! ||We slept very very well, despite the rooms not being sound proof — when we were awake, we could here stomping upstairs and all the hallway conversations.||The fondu dinner was AMAZING — more food than we can eat and...
